I think Joe T paid dearly for that!!!

Recall a Monday night in 1985 and a sack
by LT! That bone was at nearly a 90degree
angle!

Does anyone know John Madden's political leanings? I think I recall that Pat Summerall is a Republican.

What has Joe Theisman got to do with NASCAR, other than the fact that he played for Joe Gibbs with the Redskins?

What about the rumors about Jr? I know that Jeff always has a super gorgeous woman on his arm. I dont recall seeing Jr with any women. Does NASCAR have a dirty little secret that it has to kept sweep under the rug or risk losing its #1 merchandise seller?

Not sure. But John M deserves a lot of
respect regardless. He is a down to earth
guy and he is a great football commentator.
Even better than Pat S.

He connects well w/ his audience.

Nothing, but these threads DO go on tangents, and sometimes the tangent proves more dynamic than the original thread. (But not in this case.)

Madden and Summerall were quoted from Monday Night Football when Madden said something about flip-flopping in the game and Summerall said something like ".. and we're in the right state for it...", referring to Mass.

I wouldn't be surprised if Madden were a Democrat or Republican, but whatever he is, I would probably respect his reasons.

That wasn't Summerall; I think it was Al Michaels. The Summerall/Madden team was broken up a couple of years ago.
