Rolling Stoned has as much to do with music these days as MTV does.
Jann Wener turned it into a political mouthpiece for the DNC a long time ago.
The previous cover subject was The Daily Show's Kerry Butt Boy (his own admission) Jon Stewart.
Earlier this year Michael Moore was on the cover.
Bands like boy bands and Britney Spears are cover stories. Did they run cover features on the Archies or the 1910 Bubblegum Co. "back in the day"?
Mojo Magazine is much better for music (old and new).
"I'm gay...and French"
That's exactly what I was thinking.
You beat me to posting it. lol
John Kerry allegedly played bass in a preppy high school sweater band called the Electras.
The album has been released twice this year by members of the band. 2 members are splitting the money equally among the members of the band, the other guys are giving all of the money received from their pressing of the album to the DNC. Wanna bet which album was released by band members who are Republicans?
I say that John Kerry allegedly played bass in the band because that is what I read about his performance. Also, the liner notes indicate that John Kerry was a resident of Oslo, Norway (no joke). If the lies go back to 1962, I don't accept ANYTHING this fraud says.
"...If I only had a brain."
JOHNNY WAS ON ROLLING STONE
(with apologies to The Temptations)
It was the second 'November
That day I'll always remember
'Cause that was the day Kerry's campaign died
I never could really believe him
Never heard nothin' but bad things about him
Mama T, I'm depending on you to tell me the truth
And Mama T hung her head and said, son-
[Chorus]
Johnny was on Rolling Stone
Wherever he campaigned was his home
And when it died
All he left me was a {bi-i-ig} loan
Johnny was on Rolling Stone
Wherever he campaigned was his home
And when it died
All he left me was a loan
Mama T, is it true what they say
That Johnny never worked a day in his life?
And Mama, some bad talk goin' around goin' around town
Sayin' that he had more outside children and another wife
And that ain't right
Hey, heard talk about him doing some storefront preaching
Talking about saving your soul and all the time leaching
Dealing in debt and stealing in the name of the Lord
Mama T, I'm depending on you to tell us the truth
And Mama hung her head and said
[Chorus]
