The Kerry folks are having a press conference right now via teleconference responding to Bush's speech in NJ this afternoon about terrorism/foreign policy. To join the conference dial 800-471-6718, then enter the passcode: 1016- 4018
On the conference call will be Joe Lockhart (campaign advisor), Susan Rice (kerry fopo advisor), Tad Devine (campaign advisor) and Karen Breitweiser (9/11 widow working with Kerry campaign)
My intent was not to shut down to call, but to get an answer to the most asked and unanswered questions. There is damning information hiding in Kerry's military personnel file. Otherwise, he would stop the obfuscation and authorize the release of ALL his records. I can't believe some one has not obtained some of the information. If someone has the information, how late can they wait to release it?
you did fine! My comment was in regards to other poster mentioning DNC attempts to shut down Republican conference calls; in this case we had important questions inquiring minds want to know the answers to.

That is a link to the actual FReeping of the call
Got it! Thanks!
I was and that's the reason I cautioned people for this one to be professional & have good questions. The 2000 Gore conference call did have some good questions posed but there were some others who were flushing toilets and other shenanigans that kinda spoiled it. Today's experience was different - after just starting and then getting two tough questions they shut it down.
PS - as I recall the 2000 conference call was one in which everybody was allowed to talk at the same time; this one was one where the moderator took your name and queued up the questioners.
I asked a question at the Gore conference, but it didn't work out too well, b/c I was working at a major liberal television network to begin with and was trying to be covert about the phone call, while prepping the question what he considered to be middle class in terms of yearly salary. I thought they would be screening calls and getting info before we asked questions, but it didn't work out that way and I was put on the spot to answer who I was and what outlet I was coming from, so I totally fumbled. I pissed off a lot of freepers that day, and just didn't bother posting to the thread.
