The Defiance County Sheriff's Office arrested Chad Staton, age 22, of Stratton Ave., Defiance, on a charge of False Registration, in Violation of Section 3599.11 of the Ohio Revised Code, a felony of the fifth degree.

The SheriffÕs Office alleges that Staton filled out over 100 voter registration forms that were fictitious. Staton was to be paid for each registration form that he could get citizens to fill out. However, Staton himself filled out the registrations and returned them to the woman who hired him from Toledo, Ohio. Deputies allege that Staton was paid crack cocaine for the falsified registrations.

Defiance Deputies along with Toledo Police Department detectives conducted a search warrant of a residence on Woodland in Toledo, believed to be the home of the woman who hired Staton to solicit voter registration. Officers confiscated drug paraphernalia along with voter registration forms from the home. The occupant of the home, Georgianne Pitts, age 41, advised law enforcement, along with Ohio B.C.I.&I., that she had been recruited by Thaddeus J. Jackson, II, of Cleveland, to obtain voter registrations. Pitts admitted to paying Staton crack cocaine for the registrations in lieu of money.

A business card provided by Pitts indicated that Jackson is the Assistant NVF Ohio Director of the NAACP National Voter Fund.

The initial complaint received by the Sheriff's Office came from the Defiance County Board of Elections. The Board had received the 100 plus registration forms from the Cuyahoga Board of Elections that had been submitted to the Cuyahoga Board by the NAACP National Voter Fund.

Little David was in his 4th grade class when the teacher asked the children
what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up :
fireman, policeman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, etc.

David was being uncharacteristically quiet, so the teacher asked him about
his father.

"My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his
clothes
in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if
the
offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and make love with him
for money. "

The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other
children to work on some exercises and took little David aside to ask him
"Is that really true about your father?"

"No," said David, "He works for the Democratic National Committee to elect
John Kerry, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other
kids."

So the NAACP is buying crack and giving it out as payment to committ vote fraud. At least the NAACP is consistent.

Here's one for ya!

I just got home from work and on my door was an official "DRAFT NOTICE". (I go to grad school and live next to the University)

It seems that If George Bush is elected the Military Draft will "commense" (their spelling) on or about Feb. 1. All males between the ages of 18-30 will be "required to submit to involuntary military service". "If you don't want to be drafted, or see your friends and family sent off to die for Big Oil companies, Please vote the Democratic ticket."

Nice bright yellow paper with a rubberband to hang the "Draft Notice" on the door. Gotta hand it to the Young Democrats, they've really outdone themselves this time.

Everyone realizes that if this is true, the NAACP is finished right?

I doubt it, any criticism of the NAACP is raciest by definition. (Wish it were otherwise.)

Arrest the guy and send the "poor dumb voter" on his way unregistered. It should be against the law for people to go out and actually register others. If a person is truly interested and wants to register it is easy enough. If they are too dumb to find out they are most certainly too dumb to vote. This pushing registrations and the attendant double dipping, buying registrations etc. is a cess pool that needs to be drained.

We know there will be some voter fraud, there always is, but I think this makes it clear, that in a lot of cases the dims used derelicts to do this work. Derelicts doing the work means one thing. They were making stuff up and getting it done the easiest way possible. So what's the chance these 100 'people' crack-boy made up are gonna show up? For one thing, you know damn well HE doesn't remember what day it was, much less the names of the 100 people he made up. All those many, many voter registrations are going to amount to many, many less votes than the dims are planning.

This is a microcosm for the entire Democratic Party... especially for this campaign. The only way you can think John Kerry would be a good President is if you're smoking crack!!!!

Dang. I went out to register voters for the Republicans and all I got was a glass of lemonade and a stack of Viva Bush bumper stickers. When will we ever learn?

Lemonade, at least it wasn't Kool-aid like the DUmmies are drinking.

As far as the crack goes, can we really say we're suprised by this, I think not.
