President Bush visited Daytona Beach Saturday, Oct. 17th. This is the report from a few FR members who attended. Feel free to add any info/pictures.
Met allot of new folks. Had elderly folks on the bleachers in front of me, bikers behind me (I blended in more with them with what I was wearing, I guess).
Business cards are a good idea, I may try that next rally.
thanks for posting the thread...your pics were great
Amazing pictures. Thank you for posting them.
Great report, pics were fine...I'm in NJ, hoping it goes for Bush here big time!
Now I'm glad I have insomnia. I wouldn't have missed your pictures and report for anything.
I knew there would be LOTS of traffic because many folks wanted to get close to 'George W'. I was just leery to drive 90 miles and face the possibility that I wouldn't be able to move these Swiftee stickers, because I want to GET THEM OUT in the publics view so many folks can see the Swiftvets.com website address and read the bold words across the top: "EXPOSE KERRY'S FRAUD".
I was able to meet Swiftee Joe Ponder's wife who attended. I made sure she took home a large Swiftee sticker for Joe. She said he was so disappointed because he wasn't able to attend due to medical problems.
I am very happy to report that I was able to raise over $700 for Swiftvets.com from the sticker sales Saturday! I still have some small Swiftee stickers (12" wide 6" tall) and I'll be happy to get them to you for your vehicle, just send me your contribution plus $5 to cover the PRIORITY mail and you get 'em in couple days! FReep mail for details!
Thanks! It was kicked to be there, am glad I didn't pass it up.
You're welcome!
Great job!
After all the voter fraud stuff on Drudge last nite, it was a delight seeing RBA and your pics this am.
Great report! If I had been up close to that "Jesus hates Bush" sign, I think my blood pressure would've reached astronomical levels for the very first time in my life! But, God is not mocked, and I see a W victory right around the corner. :-)
I was pretty apalled at that sign. As I walked in some folks were asking what church they attend and they wouldn't answer. I don't think they are Christians. At least if they are they likely belong to some church that is very liberal in their leanings. I tell ya, tune in to that Riverbend Church online streaming sermon - live - on Sunday morning. That pastor is a true patriot.
Pray for overcast, RBA, not for rain! Great report and the pictures are great too. I just hope GWB makes it to Viera on Saturday.
