The magazine Nature and referrees with technical expertise in the field did not see the finding as important. That's strange, don't you think?
Sad that the author did not change viewpoints, as a major part of the global warming model bites the dust. I would have thought the (as I do) would be changed to (as I now must question).

No, most likely it's just that this guy doesn't want to be abused and harassed by his peers in the scientific community so he says he believes in Global Warming.
So why do you think the "corrected" one shows temperatures warmer than now during the little ice age?

Certainly...but by who? The graph posted earlier seems to indicate that the new assumptions do not in fact contradict Mann's findings. Rather they cast medievil warming in a slightly different light.
