...."But the percentage of likely voters who view Bush favorably climbed in the past week from 51% to 58%, while the number who viewed Kerry favorably stayed at the 51% level.

Kerry also finds himself battling the Bush campaign's attempts to label him as too liberal. Among likely voters, half (52%) say Kerry's political views are too liberal. Conversely, 41% of likely voters see Bush as too conservative.

THIS IS GOOD NEWS INDEED!!

It's getting hard to discount the trend, even if the particular figures vary from poll-to-poll.

Poor Kerry-- having to battle the label "too liberal." Hard to battle what everybody knows to be factual. His liberalism is why liberals support him. What a dunce.

Bush lead among adults is the same as among RVs.

Does Gallup think all adults are registered to vote, or possibly the ones that aren't are too ashamed to admit it?

Also I haven't seen JA for this poll, have you?

Good news leads to more good news, it can feed on each other , keep them coming.

Even here in PA, enthusiasm is high, spend Sat. on phone bank and spent today handing out tickets to see GW live, we will prevail.

Great! I wonder how many points Dubya will have to win by in order to get rats to give up on their secret "Plan," i.e., to tie up the election in the courts? I'm guessing we're going to need a fairly convincing landslide, and I think it may just be in the offing. It's gonna be sooooooooooo sweet!

I am fearful of ANY news that appears to be good for President Bush!!!! They (MSM) have steadfastly refused to carry anything good for or helpful to him for the last four years. Why would they suddenly be touting his 'surge' in the poll. I have to ask myself what they could be up to! Maybe they want to goose the Dems to get out the vote. They could figure that if it appears Bush is surging that it would panic a lot of libs into making the effort to vote. Sorry, but I don't trust the bastards! Whatever it is, you can bet your bottom dollar it's not good for the President!

Somebody explain this to me ... we get several "national" polls every day, but they don't really matter. We do not elect the President by nationwide popular vote! Polls in "battleground states" would be much more significant, but they are slower than molasses. What's up with that?

Holy crap. I sure didn't expect this. That debate bounce sure disappeared in a hurry, didn't it?

I guess we'll see more ads from moveon.org this week bitching about the Gallup Poll. :^)

Don't get too excited yet, folks. This is good news, mind you, but a poll that is far ahead of other recent polls merits skepticism until it's backed up by more data.

Oh, please let it happen. I am so looking forward to sitting back with a bag of popcorn and witnessing the left wing meltdown on election night. They have pulled out all the stops on this one. If they lose, there will be nothing left but for them to spew forth what they REALLY think about middle America. I can't wait.

Good to see positive news!

However, we need to be vigilant to express our support for Bush right up until the polls close. Lets rally the vote as if the World depends on it. Little do some (liberals) know the Free World is at stake and they will vote for Kerry based on some entitlement promise. The "Kerry Koolaid drinkers" are ignorant to how critical national security is and how devastating entitlements are to our economy.

In the Seattle area, some are going to the University of Washington to rally for Bush. I think organizing rallies at Community Colleges is also smart. We need to reach the young and liberally indoctrinated on every college campus.

VOTE BUSH!!!

Remember, every word from the MSM is an attempt to game the results. If they portray W as a shoe-in, some who support him might be tempted to stay home on election day. The MSM will never quit and can never be trusted.

I just got to see the full length version of 'Stolen Valor.' No wonder John Kerry and the RAT war machine doesn't want America to see this movie. It is extremely hard hitting and a real eye-opener. Any red-blooded American watching this will lose whatever respect they might have had for Kerry. These men must be heard!
