Here is the test of the email I just sent Fox News.

"Can you all see or feel it when Juan Williams opens his mouth and thousands of Televisions turn off? His character assassinations of anybody who does not agree with his point of view is repulsive.
Why can't you get someone who has an opposing view and can be CIVIL? He keeps saying the Swift Boat Vets have been discredited and the most assuredly have NOT.
Juan's insistence on insulting people (especially highly decorated Veterans and POWS) is making Fox News look bad, you are guilty by association and this is one association you should seriously reconsider."

I sent one! I sent an e-mail to Fox News Watch a couple weeks ago complaining about the debate coverage and they read it on the air. They apparently do read some of them and it is certainly worth a try to put Juan in his place!

Maybe Hannity could have Juan and O'Neill on his radio show for a show down!

Done!

I think a lot of e-mails do make a difference - at least they have in the past BUT the whole Fox News station's on air people (except for Sean Hannity) seem to have taken heed of the memo that O'REilly mentioned on his show to be more "fair" read: more left. Too bad, because it was their fairness to the right that got them where they are. I have noticed that Brit is no where near as assertive of the right's points than he has in the past. Maybe that is why he didn't call out Juan on the SBVTS discussion.

I stopped watching the first half of the show quite a while ago. I do tune in for the second half, hoping for a Juan "slap down" by Brit.

The Power Player of the Week segment really sucks. Today's segment featured a Washington lawyer "who left the fast track" to become a baker. Wow! Now that's hard-hitting. Geez.

Done. I noted that too.

I've been hitting book stores and even the book rack at Target, putting copies of "Unfit for Command" ON TOP OF that other liberal book that's out now that rips Bush. It's a small act that smaks of anarchy, but it makes me feel better that when I walk away there are TWO piles of "Unfit" and the other one is hidden from view.

I'm glad that yours was read on the air, and I hope it did some good. But in my experience in communicating with elected officials and opinion-makers over the years, I have found that a paper letter has 100 times the chance of actually being read and acted upon by the intended recipient than a blast-ed email or fax. I've received many great replies, some noncommittal ones, and a few kook-out responses to my letters.

I'm a firm believer in the effectiveness of dead trees and ink when it comes to issues that I care about.

I don't want my children drafted either. The Military isn't the place to play nanny for brats. We want a volunteer Military without these weak spined ninnies diluting the pool. Don't want the type that call home to mommy crying that the Military wants to send them on a dangerous mission either.

Wish they'd put some Marine wives I know on. I personally have my line all thought up: "Well Juan, as you know our Marines are some tough SOBs. My particular Marine has reminded me that they knocked down our f-ing trade centers and it's his job to kill as many of them as he can. So Juan, with that in mind, remember, these are not children. They are not victims. They really don't need JOURNALISTS protecting them. And don't you forget it."

Well someone is coming behind you, all the "Unfit For Command" books were turned backward at our Walmart.

Juan Williams does not even acknowledge the huge reaction to Kerry's orchestrated Mary Cheney statements. He blames the Republicans for making it an issue! Juan....come on now....who said it?
Juan lives in a dream world.
