Some 2000 US citizens opposed to the Iraq war will be sending Iraqis personal photos with protest messages to show not all Americans condone the invasion.

A means to counter the infamous images of US soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison, each picture will be accompanied by a signed personal message – either decrying the US-led invasion or extending sympathies to besieged Iraqi civilians.

"With deep shame, we apologise for the suffering our country has brought to the people of Iraq," says a banner in a photo showing 11 people in Vancouver, Washington.

Unbelievable! Notice how the Arab press laps this kind of thing up! Have we no sedition laws in this country, anymore? Presidents Washington, Jackson, Lincoln, Wilson or Roosevelt (either one) would've had these people on a scaffold in the wink of an eye.

Greetings all... I'm betting these people also decried the pain and suffering the USA dealt the poor, sick and starving Iraqi children in hospitals without food or medicine shown on CNN & the media almost every night before the war. Never mind that WE, the USA tried to allow that DAMN dictator to sell some oil vouchers to spend for these needs. Never mind that through the UN the Damn Dictator sold those vouchers to the French and other so called "Allies" for weapons and cover so he could go on killing Iraqi's at a level far exceeding anything the Coalition has done or will do. Oil for food went to members of the UN's own oversight committee so as to prolong the tragedy. WHEN is the cost of human dignity and dreams, life and RIGHTS going to be evaluated by these soo called bleeding-Hearts??? Well maybe one day, if they don't get their way and have us pull out so Iraq becomes another killing field like Cambodia. And after Iraq's themselves work out their problems, and God forbid Iraqi women getting a chance to be something, to vote, to learn, to become what they wish... you know we all have dreams... even the poor and REALLY oppressed.
