On the highest rating, most listened-to breakfast program on Melbourne radio, the hosts asked their audience a question yesterday.
That question? "Do you want to see George W. Bush re-elected as President of the United States of America?".
After one of the largest audience reactions to any poll question, a full 60% of listeners said "Yes".
Despite what you're told by the liberal left media, it's good to know the truth: the people, wherever they may be, are with President Bush.
Anyone with good sense is with Bush. Whjy would anyone want to vote for a man like Kerry who has backstabbed his fellow troops, a gigolo, a Communist, a man with no integrity, a man who has never worked an honest day in his life.
That is good to know. Welcome to Free Republic.
And we like John Howard. Welcome to FR.
Welcome to FR
Thank you for your welcome.
I'm sure I will fit in very nicely.
Australia is our next vacation destination.
As far away as our two nations find themselves on a map, I think we're about as politically close as any two nations can be.
Thank you for your unwavering support.
The reason he seems as if he has no core is because he cannot campaign on his commie and global ideology or he will be crushed. If Kerry campaigned on his core beliefs he would be run out of the country, so he lies and forgets which lie went with which statement. He floats with the polls because getting elected and then implementing his "plan" is whats important.
Remember Clinton was a "moderate" who when elected immediately tried to socialize medicine, get gays in the military, and crack down on what he saw as right wing groups aka Waco. Look at Jimmy Carter also similar actions.
Enjoy your visit.
I'm sure you'll be made most welcome.
Just to be my usual wet-blanket self: are talk radio audiences in Australia as self-selectedly conservative as they are in America? IOW, skewed sample?
Not at all.
I have to admit, the result did surprise me. A case of the silent majority having its say.
Geez if you are spending 7k on wine in two years I hope you are having a lot of friends over. What are you doing swimming in it?
BTTT
Thanks for posting this!
Welcome to FR and three cheers for our great Aussie allies!
I do like to share. But, the really good Aussies have been getting expensive lately.
The Aussies. America's longest supporting, most steadfast ally - even over Britain. They gave a good number of their young men to help us in Viet Nam. God Bless 'em.
$8,000 on wine?
Can I be your neighbor?
:)
