"I love those lyrics but I don't know the tune! I never was a fan of the Dead."

When I was in college in the early 80's, I was blessed to know a few deadheads, and they got me hooked. I never followed the Dead around or anything, but I did catch them in concerty a coupla times and it was definitely an experience...LOL!! I still like to mellow out to their CDs, but I really haven't FReeped many of their tunes.

Scuppernongs are a native American grape and one of the first cultivated wine grapes... Muscadine wine is supposed to be pretty good too.

"Cherry jelly! I've never had that!!!"

Nor have I...A. Pauline said she just jarred it last weekend and it's supposed to be better if you let it set up a few days before opening the jar, but now that I think about it, I'm gonna go make me some buttered toast and jelly...LOL!!

The muskat grape is known throught time as a making a fine dessert or appertiff wine.

Mushrooms sauteed in muskat wine and butter are ...well ...special.

It is a white sweet grape, Muskat, muskadime, muskatel.

It has recieved a bad rap due to the muskatel thing.

Its a fine wine that CAN lead to indulgence.

Italians refer to it as De Oro, that makes it respectable ;^)
