Vatican: Kerry guilty of heresy; incurrs automatic excommunication
EWTN The World Over ^ | 10/15/04

Posted on 10/15/2004 7:20:42 PM PDT by St. Johann Tetzel

Dramatic development in the fight for the Right to Life and the standing of pro-abortion Catholic politicians.

Today, in EWTN's news magazine The World Over, canon lawyer Marc Balestrieri revealed that the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has certified that the Church's condemnation of abortion is part of Catholic doctrine and of natural law, and as such, any one who publicly contradicts this doctrine is guilty of heresy and incurrs an automatic excommunication.

Click here to download the Roman Congregation's response.

Earlier this year, Marc Balestrieri filed a heresy lawsuit against Senator John F. Kerry for his public and obstinate support of abortion rights. This lawsuit remains active in the tribunal of the Archdiocese of Boston. Today, Mr. Balestrieri announced in the same program that he will file new charges against the most egregious offenders, including Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Mass) and Susan Collins (R-Maine), whose pro-abortion voting record is well known.

To find out more about Marc Balestrieri's efforts, to join the class-action canon lawsuits against Kerry et al. as an aggrieved party, or to contribute towards his ministry, visit his website, www.defide.org

Wonder how Kerry & Co. will try to wiggle out of this one?

More half-baked quack theology from The Cult of Kerryosophy.

Look at this from the latest ABC poll.

"White Catholics, the other chief swing voter group, divide by 50-47 percent, Bush-Kerry."

Pffft. Evidently half the Catholics in the country are clueless. Disgusting.

Hillary's eyes...something's home though.

Yes indeed......but it's not the light of the Holy Spirit. It is a much different spirit, perfumed with the essense of sulphur.

Looks like someone in the Vatician has said this isn't true.

Don't know if another thread has this.

Dang, I was hoping someone would call a spade a spade.

When Kerry joined the Skull and Bones Society in the 1960's he automatically excomunicated himself under the old Code of Canon Law then in effect. The Old Canon held that anyone (Kerry barely qualifies as an anyone)who joined a secret society (skull and bones is secret)automatically excomunicatedd himself.

But, everone knows he is a phony "catholic." He is divorced/remarried and goes to Communion (forbidden) when he isn't politicking on a Sunday in a black church in Miami cavorting with probaorts Sharpton and Jackson

Skull and Bones was not and is not a secret society. If it's secret, how do we all know about it?

Your interpretation of "secret society" is wrong. Is Skull and Bones anti-Catholic?

Yeah, I did. The Catholic Encyclopedia describes what a secret society is. Skull and Bones fits the decription.

Is it antiCatholic? Dunno. I don't belong to it

I first read about the excomunication in FTM's column in "The Wanderer"

The far-right's counter to the National Catholic Reporter.

"The Wanderer" is not far right. It is loyal to the Pope and bases its reporting upon Catholic Truth and its editorials upon Catholic Doctrine - including Social Doctrine.

The far-right's counter to the National Catholic Reporter.

Far from being a "counter" "The Wanderer" long preceeded that abomination. THe NCR is a commie comic
