The group attacking U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave in television ads is now on the hunt for Rep. Tom Tancredo - with a radio ad that began airing Wednesday.
In the ad, a woman is typing a letter to Tancredo. Then the narrator Says:
"My husband and I work hard to teach our children the values of acceptance and the evils of racism, which is why we're so disappointed in your conduct.
"You make a career of trying to punish immigrant workers, then turn around and use cheap, illegal labor to remodel your home. It's insulting to us all."
The reference to illegal labor is based on a 2002 allegation that Tancredo's remodeling contractor hired illegal immigrants to complete work on Tancredo's Home.
The contractor denied the allegation.
The woman then gives her name and notes she is from Greenwood Village.
Tancredo's campaign manager, Dave Pearson, said there are several problems with the ad. For starters, he said, there is no such woman in Greenwood Village and no active voter registration for anyone under that name.
Beyond that, he said, Tancredo is not a racist.
"The congressman is in favor of strengthening our borders and eliminating illegal immigration," Pearson said. "There is nothing racist or biased in that."

You haven't shown me anything. You've just said things.
The white supremacists hate communism. Does this mean we should love communism because they hate it?
You are throwing up a lot of fluff and taking minute tangents to disguise your position.
Let us deal with the central matter. Do you support people coming to America illegally, and support them staying here in spite of the nations laws to the contrary?
Let me help you understand. The lien applies to not only the guys that provide the labor, but even the Lowes, or Home Depot, or local lumbar yard that provides the material.

I just posted you a link.
I often hear that when the groups that think like you do are exposed for what they are. Perhaps you can tell me what appeals to you about eugenics, race selection and population control via abortion?
Are you aware that Tom Tancredo is the sponsor of a guest-worker program for foreign nationals? Here's an excerpt from a Front Page Magazine interview with Tancredo:
Tancredo: My purpose in introducing the bill is to emphasize that what we have to do to enforce our own immigration laws is to focus on the enforcement side of things: defend your border, apply pressure to step up internal enforcement of immigration law. Then you can develop some sort of guest worker plan that allows people to are truly needed to fill the jobs that "no one else can fill" to come into the country for a short period of time. While theyre here, they cannot get amnesty, they cant bring family, and they have to return home in order for them to be legally employed in the United States. You can only do that only if you control your own borders. There are a lot of bills that have been introduced by other members that are really amnesty plans disguised as guest worker plans; Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has introduced such a bill, as have Representatives Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and Christopher Cannon (R-UT) in the House. I just want to be able to give my colleagues an opportunity if they want to enact some kind of guest worker act, one that is a true border security and guest worker act because believe me, our bill requires a very aggressively defended border. It authorizes 20,000 more border patrol. It authorizes the use of the military on the border. We quadruple the number of personnel assigned for the internal enforcement of our immigration laws. We require this president to certify that only a few people will be coming across the border illegally, and then and only then will there be a guest worker plan. We think that might give us a chance to protect our borders from terrorists and other needless abuse.
"If the general contractor then fails to pay his subcontractors, the subcontractors may still have the right to file a lien and force the sale of the property if they are not paid. The fact that the owner has already paid the general contractor for the work may not be a defense. This problem can be prevented by obtaining mechanic's lien waivers from all materials suppliers and subcontractors prior to full payment."

Your backpeddling leads me to ask you this question. Do you believe FAIR is a racist group?
No, I don't think that FAIR is a racist organization. Your link to that page by Cannon was so full of guilt-by-association tinfoil I half wonder if it wasn't cribbed from the SPLC. And it didn't mention Tancredo at all.
Are you familiar with Tancredo's Sudan Peace Act? It just passed this month three years after it was introduced, and is supported by the White House. It's an attempt to combat the genocide in the Sudan.
So Tancredo opposes genocide against Africans and supports a guest-worker program for foreign nationals, including Latin Americans. Does that sound hateful?
This is from your link. Like I said originally. And, also, like I said, this procedure is not part of common law, and therefore not malum in se. And, as I said, if the original contractor is not in bankruptcy, the subcontractor must recover from the contractor. Of course, it is up tot he judge, finally.
Even if this were the law in all states, it does not make a home owner morally liable for use of subcontractors. Therefore, because he did not examine all his contractor's dealings does not make Tancredo a "hypocrite", which is the entire basis for your posts.
Tell me, are you in this country legally? It should be a simple answer. Here, I'll go first, I was born here. Do you support aliens coming to this country illegally and staying here in violation to US laws?
Why haven't you answered any of these questions? If you had asked them of me, I would have answered first thing, yet you demur. Why?
LOL!
The link verified what I told you in a prior post. AND, such practices are not custom in all states.
I said, in the post you're responding to, "Let us deal with the central matter. Do you support people coming to America illegally, and support them staying here in spite of the nations laws to the contrary? "
I believe that illegal immigration is against US law and illegal immigrants are harmful to our republic. I do not believe in these liberal policies you mention. However, you are much closer to those policies, yourself, because you are a liberal. Lack of border protection for a nation is not conservative.
You are trying to steer the conversation away from the indefensibility of your beliefs.
Answer my questions. If you had asked them of me, I would have answered immediately. Why do you demur?
Please. This waiver is obtained AFTER the right to lay the lien has attached. In other words, after the work is done or after the material is delivered. It's not a waiver you can engage in prior to the work being done. You talk about common law, where is your common sense?
I see, its ok to break the law as long as your cheering section won't hold you responsible in a moral sense. That's rich coming from a group of people that wet their pants every time Vincent Fox crosses the border into the USA.
"The link verified what I told you in a prior post. AND, such practices are not custom in all states. "
It's certainly the practice in Colorado. Anything else you need me to correct you on?

But, again, even if this were statutory law in all states, that in all cases a subcontractor could sue indiscriminately anyone who originally contracted the primary, it does not make Trancredo a hypocrite, which is the basis of your posts.
Why do you not answer my questions? Are you hiding under some cover?
Did Tancredo break the law? How? Aren't you advocating breaking the immigration laws? How many laws do you know of that don't address moral actions and omissions?
Why haven't you answered any of my questions about your status and positions? Do you have something to hide?
And, even if it is, it makes Tancredo morally responsible, and a "hypocrite", for some subcontractor using illegal immigrants without his knowledge, such practice being specifically denied by the subcontractor?
Why, yes, you can correct me on my suspicion that you condone and support allowing immigrants to break into this country and remain here in violation of US law.
