Just got a call from my mother informing me that my cousin , Eric Miner , was one of the Americans killed in the restaurant bombing in the Green Zone on Thursday . I will do some praying now , then call Mom back for more details .
Please accept my condolances. Prayers offered for your cousin Eric and his family.
I am terribly sorry to learn about your loss. My condolences to you and your family.

I am so terribly sorry that your cousin died this way.
Such a tragedy for your family.
Stay strong.
And take solace in the fact that your cousing died in the pursuit of freedom for those oppressed.
God Bless.
I am very sorry for your loss. My prayers for you, Eric and the rest of his family.
May God bless this hero's loved ones.
God bless your cousin and your family.
Your familys sacrifices cannot be measured in words.
My prayer are with you and your family.
Thanks to all Freepers for your condolences ...which I have passed on to the family ...
Greater love has no man than he lay down his life for his friends.
The souls of the Just are in the hands of the Lord.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
If I settle on the far side of the sea,
Even there Your hand will guide me,
Your right hand will hold me fast.
Psalm 139:9-10
God's comfort be with you and your family as He takes Eric home.
My condolences to you and your family.
Please hold this family close to Your heart as they mourn the death of their loved one. O Lord, how can we thank this young man for his service in the cause of freedom? May we attempt to repay him each day by being willing to stand for this same cause---to preserve a free America and to defend those whose freedoms have been destroyed by terrorists and those bloodthirsty for power. Help this family to know, Lord, that this death was not in vain, and may the appreciation of a grateful America for their loved one's contribution to the lives of others, bring much solace to their aching hearts. May those who mourn be blessed by Your peace. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
My sincere condolences.
Even though I never met you, I feel like I know you. We both joined FreeRepublic about the same time in Japan.
My prayers go out for you and all of your family, both immediate and extended. How are they handling it.
Here's hoping your faith in God and his son's gift of resurrection will help you all bear this burden.
My prayers are with you and yours this very evening.
So sorry to hear about your loss, sushiman. Prayers to you and your entire family.
