Hamilton County, Ohio (Cincinnati) GOP Recruiting Poll Observers
Hamilton County Republican Party | 10/15/04 | Hamilton County Republican Party

Posted on 10/15/2004 1:30:40 PM PDT by Buckeye Battle Cry

This is a partial transcript of an urgent request issued by the Hamilton County, Ohio Republican Party seeking volunteers to function as Poll Observers on November 2 in an effort to prevent vote fraud:

"There has been an unprecedented effort to register voters for this year’s Presidential election. In Ohio, tens of thousands of newly registered voters will be going to the polls for the first time. Because of this, the possibility of significant confusion exists. It is likely that many voters in Hamilton County will be confused about where they are supposed to vote. It is for this reason, we have created the Hamilton County Poll Observer program. Ensuring that every legitimate voter has the chance to vote and that every legitimate vote is counted is the goal of this program.

The Ohio Revised Code §3505.21 allows political parties to appoint challengers and witnesses to elections. For our purposes, we are calling them poll observers. Poll observers exist to ensure efficient polling places, to prevent unauthorized persons from voting and to guarantee that every legitimate vote be counted.

"We have a big job ahead of us and your help is much appreciated. We are attempting to recruit all of our observers by Wednesday, October 20, 2004. All names have to be presented to the Hamilton County Board of Elections by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2004."

As a member of Volunteer Lawyers for Bush-Cheney, I think I've figured out what I'm doing on November 2.

Where are you Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) GOP? Where are you Montgomery County (Dayton) GOP? Where are you Franklin County (Columbus) GOP? Where are you Lucas County (Toledo) GOP? Where are you Stark County (Akron) GOP? Where are you Mahoning County (Youngstown) GOP?

Is this for anyone to volunteer for, or legal professionals only?

Also can Nothern Kentucky residents assist, or are we to stay on our side of the fence?

And any Contact Numbers to pass along for willing volunteers?

I am really worried about the Cincinnatians in this election. Something seems so "fishy" across the river.

I'm not certain on the residency requirements. Here are some details from the HamCo GOP:

What: Be an official Poll Observer for the Hamilton County Republican Party. Poll observers are official representatives of the Party that register prior to the election with the Board of Elections to serve as a poll observer pursuant to Ohio law. The poll observer will receive training by the campaign and it’s lawyers so as to have the skills and tools necessary to effectively observe the election and to help ensure a fair election. The Hamilton County Republican Party will complete any necessary documentation for volunteers to act as observers.

Volunteers will not be wearing any campaign paraphernalia and will not be “campaigning” for any candidate. Instead, the volunteer will be an official representative inside the polling location to ensure a fair elections process.

When: November 2, 2004, Election Day, from 6:00 a.m. until ballots leave the polls on election day (after 7:30 p.m.). This promises to be a long day, but volunteers will help by delivering food and beverages to the observers.

There will be a mandatory training session, downtown, on Sunday, October 31, 2004 in the afternoon (2 pm – 4 pm). THE TRAINING WILL END IN PLENTY OF TIME FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ENJOY HALLOWEEN.

The deadline for recruiting poll observers and getting them to the Board of Elections is October 19, 2004.

Where: A polling location in Hamilton County that is assigned to you by the campaign. Poll observers will be sent to specifically targeted polling locations in the County. Volunteers are being asked to go to the polling location assigned by the campaign which may be anywhere in the County. Volunteers will not be working their own polling place, but will be assigned a polling location where an observer is needed.

Why: The election in Ohio and across the nation promises to be very close. As an official representative of the party, you will act as the eyes and ears of the party at the polling location. THIS IS A CRITICAL PART OF THE CAMPAIGN AND IS A KEY TO ASSURING A FAIR ELECTION FOR THE ALL REPUBLICANS.

Who: The party is looking for articulate, dedicated Republicans who can serve as official representatives of the party and effectively represent the interests of the party in the polling locations. We are targeting professionals and party loyalists. A CELL PHONE WILL BE NECESSARY AT THE POLLING PLACE.

Freepmail me if you want specific contact info.

Buskeye Battle Cry, I highly recommend several staggered training times for people to have an acceptable time slot for their schedule.

And if the results give D. the victory and the Indian reservations have more democrat voters than the number of all people who live there, will Thune and the pubs lay down again and allow the communist machine called the democrat party to steal the elections by fraud once again?

LaRosas announced yesterday that they are pulling advertising from WB64 when it airs "Stolen Valor".

Their menu could be absolute Manna from Heaven and I'll still never spend another dime with those leftist caving weasels!

I did not hear that. Looks like it's Donato's and Papa John's from now on. I used to order from Larosa's at least once a week... no more.

How Democrats Steal Elections - Top 10 Methods of Liberal Vote Fraud

1. Over-Voting. In Democrat strongholds like St. Louis, Philadelphia and Detroit, some precincts had 100% of their registered voters voting, with 99% of the ballots going to Gore. Clearly, multiple voting resulted in extra tallies for Gore in the 2000 election. (New York Post, 12/09/00).

2. Dead Voters. This classic Democratic method of vote fraud goes all the way back to 1960 in Chicago and Dallas. The 2000 election was no exception. In Miami-Dade County, for example, some of the 144 ineligible votes (those which officials actually admitted to) were cast by dead people, including a Haitian-American who's been deceased since 1977 (Miami-Herald, 12/24/00).

3. Mystery Voters. These "voters" cast votes anyway but are not even registered to vote. In heavily Democratic Broward County, for example, more than 400 ballots were cast by non-registered voters. (Miami-Herald 1/09/01)

4. Military ballots. Many of these votes were disqualified for the most mundane and trivial reasons. At least 1,527 valid military ballots were discarded in Florida by Democratic vote counters (Drudge Report, 11/19/00).

5. Criminals. Felons are a natural Democratic voter and they're protected on voter rolls across the country. In Florida at least 445 ex-convicts - including rapists and murderers -- voted illegally on November 7th. Nearly all of them were registered Democrats. (Miami-Herald 12/01/00)

6. Illegal aliens. These voters have long been a core liberal constituency, especially in California. In Orange County in 1996, Rep. Bob Dornan had his congressional seat stolen from him when thousands of illegal aliens voted for Loretta Sanchez (Christian Science Monitor, 9/2/97).

7. Vote-buying. Purchasing votes has long been a traditional scheme by Democrats, and not just with money. In the 2000 election in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Democratic workers initiate a "smokes-for-votes" campaign in which they paid dozens of homeless men with cigarettes if they cast ballots for Al Gore (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, 11/14/00).

8. Phantom Voters. These voters don't really exist, but their ballots do. In the 1996 Lousiana Senate race, GOP candidate Woody Jenkins had the election stolen from him when he discovered that 7,454 actual votes were cast but had no paper trail to authenticate them (Behind the Headlines, F.R. Duplantier, 4/27/97).

9. Dimpled chads. Those infamous punch-cards were a ballot bonanza for Al Gore. Democratic poll workers in Palm Beach, Dade and Broward counties tampered and manipulated thousands of ineligible ballots and counted them for Gore, even though no clear vote could be discerned. (NewsMax.com 11/27, 12/22, 11/18, 11/19/00).

10. Absentee ballots. Normally it's assumed that Republicans benefit from absentee ballots. But in the case of Miami's 1997 mayoral election, hundreds of absentee ballots were made for sale or sent out to non-Miami residents. Fraud was so extensive in the race that the final results were overturned in court (FL Dept. of Law Enforcement Report, 1/5/98)."

WE MUST FIGHT VOTE FRAUD!
