I was watching the political news if you can call it that (more like democratic news***except for fox***) and the bias is getting as my young generation would put it "off the hook". On NBC there coverage of iraq american citizens(not soldiers or contracters)are being killed at an alarming rate. Republicans possibly overeacting to Kerry's Mary Cheney remark. Kerry won the debate. I also timed there coverage of each canidate and on one news channel in an hour I clocked 40 minutes positive Kerry spin/Bush Bashing and 10 minutes of "news". I sorry but this is horrible. Also I was watching a recent update on the attack in fallujah and all they could say was ill-timed, lead to more americans dead, and Bush trying to find political gain in it. Sadly enough they complain about negative kerry real-documentaries and not BS like farancrud9/11 I can't wait for ther kerry service record to hit the fan. Big question is is there anywhere govt. wise to voice my complaints but more importantly ours to start atleast and investigation on bias?....
If you thought you'd seen it all, you must have missed Nightline. Let's believe the Vietcong before the Swiftboat Vets! Ted Koppel isn't just biased, he's lost all sense of judgement whatsoever!
I can only stomach so much BS before I lose it and I really like my tv and don't want it broken
Welcome to FR!
If you go over to vote dot com & (Dick Morris' web site) check the results of his poll on who won the debate wednesday, Bush leads by a large margin, yet Dick Morris has been spouting all day that kerry won the debate...
In fact, according to vote dot com, Bush has won all three debates... Whats up with that?
Dan Rather's Boo-Boo at CBS was the liberal media's "Chernobyl meltdown". It awakened the masses to the reality of the liberal bias of the MSM. Their credibility is waining, and they cannot compete effectively with the Internet bloggers and talk radio anymore. This is the beginning of their demise.
It's getting harder for the MSM to attack the messenger, people are starting to get the (conservative) message and are demanding a debate of ideas, a format the libs like Rather cannot control....
The best thing you can do is to unplug your TV - forever. There is no reason to watch it anymore. Even Fox is trying to become a mouthpiece for the DNC from what I've been reading in here.
This political season has shown the exact reason that they call it "TV PROGRAMMING" - they're trying to program the electorate. There's nothing you can do about it. The FCC, the FEC, no one will do anything about it.
Just turn it off, and leave it off. Permanently. You'll be amazed at how much more clear your life will become without it. (I haven't watched TV for the last 8 years. I'll never watch it again.) Life isn't a spectator sport - you can't watch it - you have to LIVE IT.
Oh, and welcome to FR. Nice to see another new arrival that's not a troll.
