"Mackris' attorney...did say...that O'Reilly's behavior will be proven in court...She returned to work for O'Reilly at Fox in July of 2004, according to her lawsuit, after winning assurances that O'Reilly would no longer engage in inappropriate conduct."

If true. . .seems all it would have taken would be 'one word' and she could have put an end to this; as she had the 'protection' of Fox. . .
If true. . .wondering if the 'rest of the story' was not her 'setting up' O'R; I mean how long do you wait, to decide to call it 'harassment'.
Hard to believe that O'Reilly would fall into this trap; but I have thought at times; that he has more than a bit of twinkle in his eyes when he does some interviews; he also has more than a bit of arrogance; and together; they could make an 'achilles heel'.
I should have added that so far as I can tell, there is no reason to believe that Fox knew anything about this prior to Mackris getting an att'y & entering into the alleged ''negotiations'' prior to the suit being filed.
BOR has a huge ego, but I suspect that even he would have to be encouraged in these cicumstances. And he's a suspicious guy. How stupid can you be???
I heard on the radio that O'Reilly and the producer engagd in phone sex.
I ask.. What do you do if a vacuum cleaner salesman calls you, right, hang up.
So why didn't she hang up? Problem solved.
She alledges he "forced" her to have phone sex with him.... 3 times! ummmm.... just a silly thought, hang-up?
Male model type? Quit it--you're killing me! Bill O'Bloviator--half bald, wrinkled as a baseball mitt, paunch covered by extra size jacket???
What magazine is he modeling for--Gentleman's Quarterhorse?
Because she called him.
Where are the tapes? If there are tapes, why aren't they all over the airwaves?
Maybe because the bidding war is still in progress?
First poll--On MSNBC tonight (Olbermann):
Did O'Reilly do it? Yes--80%
No--20%

"Based on the extensive quotations cited in the complaint, it appears a safe bet that Mackris, 33, recorded some of O'Reilly's more steamy soliloquies" (see page 16, for example).

"O'Reilly's lawyer, Ronald Green, said he believes there are tapes of conversations between the two and asked a court to compel Mackris to produce them so they could be played publicly."

I'm not immune to your arguement, but I do think there are workplace abuses that should be addressed if someone steps far enough over the line.
Should FoxNews be culpable? IMO, only if they sought to cover up or aided an avoidence of taking responsibility for unacceptable behavior.
I wouldn't be surprised that FoxNews knows what actually took place. I won't be definitive about that because I just don't know.
Look, if it were my daugher or wife, and some pig pulled the sexual card out against them, I'd want him skewered. Firing his ass would be fine. I'm not looking to get rich.
That's one of the reasons why I don't take sides early on in these things. She's going for money, he's going for money, I just don't like it, and I'll let things settle a bit.
You dolt. Mackris' lawyer doesn't have to produce the tapes until the discovery part of the process.
I never like to see someone who claims abuse, return to a situation that they claimed was abusive. It really does throw things into upheavel.
Don't you know? Red blotches are the new black. Bill's face is the hottest fashion statement this side of gay par-ee.
What is Mackris' objective?
Money? It's clear there will be no money.
To ruin O'Reilly and FOXNEWS before the election? The only way to do that is play the tapes, now, as O'Reilly's attorney is demanding.
The tapes will show that Mackris is the aggressor, that she made the phone calls, and initiated the phone sex. O'Reilly may have participated, but this is, in no way, sexual harrassment.
Its just about sex
O'Reilly has some "issues". It appears he didn't "get much" when he was younger and now he has the power to play out his penile fantasies?
With that said, Coulter and this other woman are not wall flowers. Either one of them could likely handle O'Reilly with one hand tied behind their backs.
O'Reilly is a liberal punk. I don't like the fact that he dissed John O'Neill several weeks ago without even reading O'Neills book first. So, I find it VERY amusing that O'Reilly now has a lot of people drawing conclusions about his lame ass "without checking the facts". HA HA HA!!
As far as those saying Soros is behind this? I doubt it. O'Reilly is no threat to the left. Because he is part of the left.
