A packed house showed up at FGCU in Ft Myers Florida today (10/14/04). Estimated at 2500+

The people showed up at 10am for a 12:30 appearence

No kidding? He said that? Good for him. Reminds me of what my mother used to say: "You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear." My mother would love knowning she was in such great and honorable company as Vice President and Lynne Cheney.

The folks were energetic, young and old. The ones I talked to were politically active/knowledgeable. I couldn't hear too much of the speech,I was in the back, I got to shake the hand of Mrs Cheney and I said to the VP "You've got a hard job.

I met a couple of Black Republicans and had a discussion about education and the state of Black Republicans, one of them was Marvin Jones the former New York Jet.

Edwards is coming on Monday, he won't get half the people Cheney had.

Yes, I hope the entire Cheney family can feel the prayers going out for them. I am especially sending out prayers to VP Cheney, because he has a really heavy load to carry.

He does have a heavy load to carry but he is one helluva real man with one helluva real wife and they are strong and will stand together. They are the real deal unlike kerry and the breck girl pretend to be. Also shame on Elizabeth Edwards. Shame on you Elizabeth. I think you probably put one of the last few nails in kerry's (he is NOT a good man)coffin.

I can't wait until election day to watch these four goof balls walk off into the sunset with their tails tucked between their legs as Bush/Cheney pull down the landslide equal or better than that of the late great President Ronald Reagan.

Exactly right. Kerry and Edwards and their unfortunate spouses are not only not in the same league as the Cheneys' in terms of maturity, class and loyalty, they don't belong on the same planet.
