Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and
undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged."

Agreed. If history has shown us anything, it is that life and events are unpredictable. Voters need to closely examine the character of the candidates to see how they would handle the unknown.

"John Kerry is a sphincter"
Yes, but he is a master debater.

agree with Jonathan's premise...that Bush is more likeable and we saw that in this last debate. My question is how many tuned into this debate? Did enough undecided idiots watch?

Ya know, the president was PROUD as I've ever seen him about Afganistan having free elections, and he obviously thought every one else should be too. Also his statement about his faith was genuinely straight from his heart.
Contrast that to Kerry's every first thought starting with, "Unfortunately." I mean all Kerry can ever talk about is how Bush has screwed up. He has absolutely nothing positive about himself to say. Kerry has to try to convience people that he is Catholic. OH, and that quote he used from the bible "faith with out works is dead" was so out of context because it had nothing to do with what HE was trying to get across. Kerry, I don't believe has a clue what that verse signifies.

Let's be honest here - given the choice of sitting down with a beer and talking about the state of the world with either guy, well, it isn't a choice. And that isn't just some sort of faux blue-collar
chic, it's an appreciation of their respective abilities to boil highly complex scenarios down into simple courses of action, which is, after all, what a president must do. It's fine to leave the constituent aspects of world terrorism in a state of quantum indeterminacy if one is attempting to write a book or formulate a college seminar, but one needs to see beyond that when the issue is whether or not to drop bombs.
Kerry's tendency to dither is one way of ensuring that he does not jump to an incorrect conclusion, which is not at all a bad thing, but when it extends to never reaching a conclusion at all in order to avoid an incorrect one, that is not a characteristic to be sought in an executive. Executives are supposed to execute, not dither.

John Kerry is a sphincter. That would make a superb tagline.

The sphincter must be defective because it sure isn't keeping the sh*t from spewing out.
The sphincter was probably stretched by Terry McAuliffe shoving his hand up the puppets a$$ so many times.

My second theory involved an even more elemental fact. John Kerry is a sphincter.Pretty accurate. Though I do believe Bush is a better President than Goldberg is giving him credit for.
