This is very important since Kerry flat out lied during the debate and claimed he got 56 bills passed in his Senate career. Fact is he was lazy and chasing skirts before getting hitched to Teresa, or was it the other way around?
______
During the debate, Bush campaign spokesman Steve Schmidt sent out an "Urgent Alert" to reporters that read, complete with weird capitalization: "John Kerry's statement that he passed 56 bills during his 20 years in the senate is a complete and utter falsehood. Kerry passed five bills and four resolutions." In Spin Alley after the debate was over, Bush campaign communications director Nicolle Devenish called Kerry's comment about the number of bills he authored his "Al Gore moment." But when Schmidt asserts that Kerry passed only five bills and four resolutions, he means bills that passed both houses of Congress and were signed into law. The Bush campaign's own "Breaking Debate Fact" e-mailed during the debate says that Kerry was the lead sponsor of 31 bills, 122 amendments, and 28 resolutions that passed the Senate.
Look at the dates. That guy must have been windsurfing and snowboarding allot:

Hi GC!
I am very well, thank you. Busy with my ministry and family and getting pumped for the coming election. Go Bush!
Hope all is well with you and yours!
Take Care,
Deacon Francis
I think he was divorced in 1988 but do not know when he got the annulment. The annulment might be like his military record it is kept secret probably for good cause to him. I suspect it may be as false as the military record.
America will get what it deserves and if good people dont vote,wo be to America.
They have to pass the budget and they can provide for the relief of individual citizens. That should be about the extent of it.

Kerry retorted that the Senate has passed 56 bills that he wrote. http://www.fresnobee.com/local/story/9283181p-10187989c.html
This is your best answer, from the John Kerry website. It's an instant response to last night's debate.
57 bills and resolutions John Kerry has sponsored over the years have passed the U.S. Senate. Countless others have been improved because of his work, including the Clean Air Act, the Childrens Health Insurance Program and the COPS program.

Notice the sly wording, how Kerry's 57 bills and resolutions passed the US Senate. Only got past the US Senate and no further is my conclusion. However this 57 most likely includes the 9 the Republicans mentioned, that made it past the House and got signed by the President into law. So the Kerry breakdown is probably:
9 John Kerry bills and resolutions got signed into law
48 John Kerry bills and resolutions got passed by the US Senate and got no further. IOW they were duds.
To be fair, Kerry doesn't show up much for his Senate work. It's just not that easy passing a lot of bills and resolutions when you're not there.
