Bush Demolishes Kerry; MSM in panic
10/13/04 | Jose Roberto

Posted on 10/13/2004 8:28:10 PM PDT by Jose Roberto

Tonight, President George W. Bush knocked out Liberal Democratic Senator by the end of the first half hour. Being objective, I was concerned tonight about Kerry's so-called mastery in domestic issues. But it would make sense that Bush, a former Governor of one of the largest US states would feel more comfortable in domestic issues than Kerry, who has spent 20 years in the Senate suffering from diarrhea of the mouth without accomplishing anything. I could not believe that Bush was cleaning Kerry's clock so convincingly that even the MSM was left without words. There we saw Chris Matthews screaming and trying to convince his panel (Reagan, Mitchell, Meathan, and Buchanan) that Kerry did "OK" and saying that Bush was "subdued". Over at the Communist News Network (CNN) Blitzer and Greenfield as well as Carlos Watson were giving the debate to Kerry but wondering if it made a difference in the polls. However, Fox News declared a total demolition of Kerry by Bush. Krystol was ebullient and happy, Kondrake was righteous saying that Kerry's outing of Cheney's daughter as a lesbian was a "low blow" and Barnes was ecstatic that Bush saved the best for last. Clearly, Fox News was seen by a wider audience and their veredict carries more weight, but be sure that the MSM is in panic as Bush enters the final phase of the campaign with the upper hand. Congratulations to our heroic President, now on to the campaign to put the Liberal necklace on Kerry and to make him wear it proudly. Liberal liberal liberal.

It looks like the media spin that Fox is pushing is Kerry's gaffe in bringing up the lesbianism of Cheney's daughter. Instapolls were very negative about it. In the press room of the debate, Jim Angle of Fox News said an audible gasp escaped from the pressholes when Kerry mentioned it.

You fear the MSM spin? Well you're fearing the wrong thing. You should fear what the right-wing press is going to do to Kerry over the next couple of days with this Kerry gaffe. Talk Radio, Fox News, and the Internet will crush Kerry's throat with this one.

Well, they've now managed to turn it around and all are calling it a Kerry win. It started in the spin room and now the MSM has run with it and calling it a Kerry win. They're saying 3 for 3. Claiming the flash polls have Kerry winning.

So different than Kerry's response about "marrying up". What is that?

That was actually a Reagan joke from way back.

Reagan made it work because he knew the right time and the right place to say it.

Remember that ICE is also slick and if you thrive in it, you will eventually fall.

There's a saying out there that goes like this:
If you dress a monkey with silk, that monkey is still a monkey!
AND KERRY IS MONKEY

David Gergen on PBS claiming that in the summer, Bush had a 10% lead among women, now Kerry has a 8% lead.

How do you explain that???? Other than the fact that Gergen is a screwball who gets on TV a lot because he was a Republican and now tilts toward the Dems and therefore the Press Poodles just adore him?

No offense, but I'm tired of hearing the "if Bush did this in the first debate this would be over" line.

One...Bush didn't do that bad in the first debate and it was only after a few days did his "performance" get graded worse.

Two...why does everyone assume debates actually make up people's minds? I personally think if any voter hadn't made up their mind by now they are probably too stupid to know what day the election is held.

I loved it when President Bush would throw the ball back in Kerrys court and point out that the senator had 20 years to fix the problems he was complaining about so why didn't he. LOL

Help me, what do I do with my liberal neighbors (3 of 'em) who are on welfare, who DON'T think Iraq war was important 'cause I ain't gotta job', who think Iraq was only about lining the pockets of Bush/Cheney because of 'Halliburton', etc., etc. I have had very heated debates trying to point out facts, but what it generally comes down to, is: Class warfare-entitlement mentality and/or Bush hating. They keep pointing out to each other how can we afford a new car or any home improvement or complain that they didn't get a "tax cut" or a "refund". It's all I can do to not scream at them, "You have to PAY taxes to get a refund!"

I noticed my Bush/Cheney yard sign was stolen just after debate #2, right when they got their Kerry signs.....
Help! I'm surrounded by freakin liberals.

umm, what'd you think?

that, just because republicans foolishly panned bush's adequate performance (on the substance) in the first debate, democrats would admit when their guy lost?

remember MacCurry and Lockhart called the first debate a draw til they sensed the media's desire to help them spin it as something better for kerry

really, don't give these folks the satisfaction of taking their pronouncements seriously
