I know FOX received a ton of emails after the last fiasco AKA panel comments. Even though W was masterful in the second debate, the two K boys had him defeated (or at best, tied) which energized the conservative base. I made a very strong statement about them losing their conservative base by pandering to the left, etc in my email and I personally know of 4 others that sent the same type of comments. I really am concerned with the leftist tilt of FOX lately and believe they are overcompensating for the MSM comments about their rightwing slant. Who knows?

It is amazing how many times Bush used Freedom and Liberty.

When I stated this, I meant throughout his Presidency. I remember before Bush was elected, that I told my nephew that you hardly hear a national leader use "Liberty" in speeches. Then we were blessed to have Bush elected and he brings it to the forefront of thought. Bush is driven by ideas, the democrats driven by ENVY.

Bush ended the debates on a high note. Now the final sprint to the election begins. The Dems are spinning more than usual on the post-debate roundtables. They know Kerry did poorly tonight.

CBS poll showing major Kerry victory tonight: 39-25

This is consistent with Gallup/CNN and disputes the ABC News poll that heavily oversampled Republicans and showed a 1-pt. Kerry lead.

Disturbing if true, but tradesports looks good and I just almost can't believe these polls.

Yea, terrie mcauffle sent out a message to dims to vote on all these bogus polls........let them vote it will show how bogus they are, 99% to 1% shows that only the dims are voting, bogus!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit, Kerry was weird. Could the innuendo's about him being so touchy- feely with Edwards have hit a nerve? Was this weird twisted projection? Probably not, probably just plain old fashioned weirdness.

It backfired big time. However, Kerry followed up that insensitive, below the belt comment with one about a man leaving his wife after he discovered he was gay. That was so strange and bizarre, even for Kerry. He loses 5 points right there. Just for freaky weirdness.

WTF was the logic behind the Democrats prepping Kerry to bring up Dick Cheney's daughter's sexual preference?

Maybe because there wasn't a backlash when Edwards did it and they thought it would hurt Bush with his base.

The Dems think that's a wedge with the fundies.

It is....
with the "one percenter" type of fundies...
but that ain't you and me...

most fundies I know were rather delighted with W on pba.
we look forward to even more 'sensible' changes to the laws in the next term.

I think the President should have been more direct in his answer on RoevWade. He should have said, as he has before, that he would appoint "strict constructionists" that don't read "rights" into the constitution that aren't there. Or, that don't dismiss "rights" clearly articulated in the Constitution (i.e. 2nd Amendment).

While I agree 100% on the second part, you need to remember that the purpose of the Constitution is to LIMIT THE GOVERNMENT'S POWERS, not to limit our rights, please don't fall into that trap. In fact the Bill of Rights was almost not included in the Constitution because the founders didn't want to put out the idea that our rights are limited to those listed.

Kerry bringing up his mother's death was a shameless play for sympathy from women.

A mother who is near death tells her son integrity, integrity, integrity. I dare say I think this must of been a huge concern for her. It sounded to me like she was admonishing him about what was her deepest concern for him which was that he lacked integrity. This is not something a mother would say to a son she did not doubt. I think this is a point worse repeating.

Yeah, did anyone notice that Kerry's revealing response to the question about the women in their lives - he said something to the effect that his wife & daughters "keep him honest!!"

In other words, without them around, he's inherently dishonest. LMAO! We all know that he's a dishonest, dirty politician, but this was one revealing admission on his part that he is essentially a dishonest person inside.

The conservative media needs to cue into this one. Maybe I'll send this to RUSH LIMBAUGH...

Not boring, per se; just the same old say-nothing with alot of words. "I have a plan" and failing to give any details. Same tripe, different debate.

"In fact the Bill of Rights was almost not included in the Constitution because the founders didn't want to put out the idea that our rights are limited to those listed."

Actually, what happened was that many didn't want to put in a Bill of Rights because some thought them superfluous.
Whenever a judge(s) adds to or takes away from the clear language of the Constitution (in the context of when and why it was written) he(they) have ammended the constitution.

Roe v Wade was a horrendous example of the Supreme Court finding a "right" in the Constitution that didn't exist by using convuleted extrapolation. It was before, and should still be a state's issue. The federal government should not have been involved.

The debates are finished and so is Yaaawn’s campaign. For him to win the electoral college he needed to win the three debates like he supposedly did in the first one. Many are wondering if W was so flat on the first one to lower expectations or was he just rusty and tired? If you judge debates on substance W won all three since in none of the debates did Yaaawn carry the night on any substance only style. In DC and the other party they always take style over substance since that is a completely subjective and bias judgement. Any way you slice it now Bush/Chaney took 3 of 4.

The third debate was a continuation of the spanking Yaawn got in the second debate. He kept jumping back to questions or continued to not answer the ones that were asked such as the, “how you going to afford your healthcare plan, question. He went off about tax-cuts for the rich rather than give the foggiest idea. How difficult is it to say the gummit has a program for that?? It is far more difficult to explain to the Country how the Free Market and growing the economy with better education can solve more problems than the gummit can cause. One is the canned 1960's Socialism is the answer to all our problems, and the other is the invisible hand will create solutions.

What Yaaawn failed to do in these debates was to raise his game to the level of W. Perhaps he fell asleep listening to his own long winded, winding whiney answers or he misunderestimated, but he failed to bring his “A” game to the field. His answers never failed to have a “but” midway or two name drops, to the point you wondered if The Pope was trying to get an audience with Mr World?? His delivery was robotic to the point that the facts and figures became impossible to follow and made you reach for the Excedrine.

His worst two answers of a night full of poor answers and the petty political cheap shot was the two at the end. The question of how your faith enters in your ability to lead was insulting. After W described how it gave him strength and wisdom in his times of trouble along with the value of prayers for him, the country have a clear view inside the man. Yaawn comes in with some PC answer about getting blessed by a “native American” along with a canned Universal Religion answer. No glimpse inside the soul only rehearsed dead cliche’s and then finally turns it into an attack on the President? You attack out of a personal faith question?? Talk about judge not lest you be judged! Faith questions give a look inside the man and for Yaawn it made his anger and hatred transparent.

The strong woman answer was his worst of the debates. After W gives a lovely answer that was warm and original and humorous that gave a clear look into his heart and marriage, up steps Yaawn. The great reason for this question was that it was out of left field and the Candidate had to speak from his heart on his feet. Yaawn went to the old cliche’ “We married up”. Forget that this was plagiarized from Reagan and W when they talked about Nancy and Laura or that it fell flat, but it is meant about looks. They both married beautiful women. When he says it about an unattractive older billionaire widow, it means something else entirely. Not to mention he left his first millionaire wife and daughters then annulled the marriage to marry into the Heinz fortune. You can bet that Dingbat asked him what he meant by that! As dingy as she is, she didn’t deserve that embarrassment. He had 2 minutes of listening to W to come up with an original answer and that was the best he could do, a stolen line? It just shows that there is not any there, there. This was a nightmarish way to end the debates for him and dingbat.

The three debates give us a clear picture of both candidates and the differences couldn’t be clearer. Yaawn is a say anything to anyone politician and W is W. Yawn wants a Global Test and Universal Healthcare with higher taxes. The only question about taxes is whether everyone is going to pay higher taxes or just the rich....Right! The debates have shown why Yaawn has accomplished nothing in the Senate since he has no beliefs, backbone or soul. A good resume for a legislator from Mass but hardly the qualities you need leading the most powerful country in the world.

Pray for W and Our Troops
