Bush finally mention Kerry voted against first Gulf War. Its about time!
And he timed it PERFECTLY--during one of the 30 second rebuttals when the next question was being asked to him. This meant that Kerry couldn't respond directly to that point until AFTER the president answered the next 2 minute question. Kerry did that to him repeatedly in the first debate. Bush did it TWICE in this one with two big bombs. Well done, Mr. President!

I'd have mentioned this at least 3 times every debate. Wouldn't you think Shiefer would ask this question:
Senator Kerry, you voted against the first gulf war despite UN resolutions and 34 countries on our side. Do you understand why some might question your committement to defend this country?
