The Bible verse he chose as his favorite is:
Gal. 6:7
"......whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap"

Perhaps this is the time that we see what has been sown.

Something to look forward to, I guess.

(In 10 years they might have a replacement that's good for decades).

I functioned great on percocet myself....I miss them.

Post operative heart surgery is hard on anyone....the degree depends on many factors...age, degree of damage, mental attitude.

I loathe Clinton but he is one determined charlatan and I bet he makes an appearance before the election....if he wants to help....which he may not.

Some folks who have never had any health problems get sort of emo after cardiac surgery because it is definitely a life wake up call and a mortality reminder.

I wish him well and that he makes a recovery. Perhaps if he didn't watch any of the debates, he would be doing much better!

Well, he had better hurry up and get well or he'll miss the Reeves funeral! He loves nothing better than a good funeral.

I'm hoping they will be able to replace it via a catheter, instead of open-chest surgery, which gets more dangerous every time due to scar tissue.

I have not read this entire thread and I'm not going to finish it. There are some despicable comments here and it's embarrassing.

I'm hoping the boy fully recovers, regardless his past. I don't want FreeRepublic to look as bad as DU does.

Apparently the nurse in recovery took one look at Clinton and said, "Better put some ice on that....! If this moron dies Arlington Cemetary will have to change it's regulations and allow a tombstone shaped in the form of a Viagra tablet!

O'Reilly mentioned that he heard Bubba isn't doing so well with his recovery.

Bubba mentioned that he heard that O'Reilly ain't doing so hot lately himself.

Make that a dozen and one.

I underwent a seven way bypass in February of this year and I'm still recovering. I too suffered from the effects of the heart/lung machine. Looney tunes big time.

I was convinced that everone in the hospital was trying to do me in. This lasted for about two weeks.

After that I was kinda slow witted for a couple of months. Everthing seems ok now but I don't think I'm quite back to where I was before surgery.

I did decide one thing as a result of the heart incident. I'm not putting of my life-long dream of sailing the world. Since the surgery and recovery, I commmitted and bought a 53' fast crossing aluminum cutter and I'm getting it ready to sail away. (If Kerry gets elected, God forbid, ou will all envy me.) Go to my "about me" page, at the bottom to see her.

I had morphine pre-op and dilaudid and morphine in ICU and post-op till I went home (72 hours).

The pre-op scopalamine-morphine cocktail injection sure did the trick too....utterly destroyed any apprehension about having my breastplate cracked open.

Bill Clinton's recovery, or lack thereof, is a leading indicator of John Kerry's prospects.

When Kerry started to tank Clinton suddently discovered this heart problem that needed surgery immediately. I spent 10 years in Emergency Medicine and it is very rare to put someone in for the kind of surgery he had on an emergency basis without having a cardiac event first. I believe that his condition was well known and that they used decided to push for the surgery to distance him from Kerry. That also gave Hillary a plausible reason for staying away from Kerry

Things turned around for Kerry after debate #1 and suddenly there was talk of Bill getting better fast and Hillary started showing up as a Kerry surrogate. Debate #2 happened and the VP debate and I think that the Democrats, despite the hysterical spinning, are convinced that Kerry is going down and down hard. Hillary has started backing away, and now we get these new reports on Bill.

If these folks told me the sun came up in the east I'd wait and personally verify it. They lie for a living, about everything.
