Will a majority of the American electorate vote for this arrogant, elitist, closet-communist snob?

(1) They have shown a virtual tie all year except for the brief period after the Republican convention.
(2) The conventional wisdom among the MSM and pollsters literally since 2000, has been that this election will be as close as 2000. So polling firms have used methodologies that reflect that assumption. Is their assumption correct or flawed?
(3) Are the American people so fickle and shallow that they change their minds based on one debate when balanced against nearly four years of one the most consequential presidencies in history?
(4) Are the American people really going to send the same message to the terrorists that the Spanish did?
(5) Reports from around the country are that voter registrations are up significantly. Are the polling firms reaching these new voters? Are they reaching people who use cell phones rather than land lines?
(6) The effect of the Dem bitterness over 2000 cannot be easily measured. Nor can the effect of the unprecedented coordinated assault on President Bush by Soros and his ilk, the entertainment industry and the MSM. The Dan Rather incident gave us only a mere glimpse into the lengths they are willing to go to defeat him. If there is a backlash to it all, the polls simply aren't geared to picking it up. On the other hand, if a majority of the American electorate fall for all the venom directed against the president, what does that say about us as a nation?
(7) Lastly, and most important of all, the polls are not geared to picking up the lingering effects of 9/11/01, the anthrax attacks, the DC sniper attacks, etc., in voters' minds and hearts. This is a truly unique and monumentally important election. Only two or three other elections in American history have been as consequential as this one will be. For that reason, I'm not sure the polls are picking up all the cross-currents that will decide the outcome.
....hmmmmmmm....donuts
(sorry homer)
Doogle
Don't let anyone kid you. This is going down to the wire unless Bush can hit a home run tonight. Even then, I think most minds are made up, with the "STILL undecideds" probably not able to respond to intelligent issues about the future of the world without checking to see what the United Nations thinks first.
i.e., get ready for a long night on Nov. 2.
As we move into crunch time, I just wanted to take a moment to salute you all for the work you've done throughout this long and, in many ways, difficult election season. While our troops are fighting overseas, I've believed that we have an important role to fill here at home. You have all done your duty and then some.
(3) Are the American people so fickle and shallow that they change their minds based on one debate when balanced against nearly four years of one the most consequential presidencies in history?Do you really need evidence that many Americans can be really idiotic?(4) Are the American people really going to send the same message to the terrorists that the Spanish did?
Perhaps so, but my larger point is that the outcome of this election will tell us everything we need to know about the state of this union.
Looks like the "joker"
not only that, this election won't be over until December, at the earliest.
Gee Olie...
Many, yes, but a majority? Is a majority really going to vote for the arrogant pr#k whose inner self is written all over his face in the above photo? Don't get me wrong...I don't know the answer to that question, and fear that the answer may be yes.
He looks like the "joker" because he is...and if he's elected, the "joke" will be on us all.
That would make a GREAT bumper sticker.
Yes, frightening to think of millions of Kerry voters making other important decisions that affect our lives every day.
Some of our people are very stupid. I've been cutting off SKerry voters when I see em.
Long night????
If it goes to the wire, how about long November and December.
Suits are already flying, if this is a squeaker, we aren't going to know who's the President on November 2nd.
