I am certain the Democrats will simply say this is old news. It happened about 30 years ago. He was never charged. Etc.

This will get out the democrat vote. They support sexual predators. It did well for Slick Willie.

Hey, lighten up! The lad's a democrat!! He could have knocked her up and then murdered her in an underwater car and no one in the media would have given it a second thought.
Resignation? Don't be silly, he's a dem for God's sake. It's not like he asked his wife to go to an off color show or anything! Lighten up! That's why we have a double standard!

He is also taking a page out of former Oregon Gov. and unconvicted child rapist Neil Goldschmidt's playbook by painting himself as a victim because of the guilt and regret he has had to live with for 30 years.
It's always a pleasure to vote against Wu. This year will be even more so.

I agree, the 'Rats won't care. BJ Klintoon, the entire Kennedy family, Gary Condit, Gary Hart, and etc. As far as they are concerned, a person's sex life is private, and this privacy extends to rape. However, this privacy only extends to the 'Rats. If Arnold Swartzenegger grabbed a girls butt at a party 20 years ago that's not only news, it deserves a huge investigation and possibly a "60 Minutes" segment.

Can you hear me Doctor Wu?
Are you really just a shadow
Of the man that I once knew?
Are you crazy? Are you high?
Or just an ordinary guy?
Have you done all you can do?
Can you hear me Doctor?

So when a Democrat sexually assaults his ex-girlfriend, it's old news, but when a Republican takes his wife to a sex club and proposes that they have sex in front of other people, it's grounds for him to drop out of politics?
I hope Goli Ameri let's other people talk about Wu's seamy past and wins by reducing the gender gap from historical levels. And maybe Jim Zupancic can tie Darlene Hooley to Wu by calling upon her to demand Wu's resignation; Hooley will be damned if she does and damned if she doesn't in a district that Bush carried in 2000.

That's great to hear! Oregon needs more Americans like you. In addition to voting yourself, drive a family member or co-worker to the polls to vote for Ameri. Better yet, hijack a busload of strangers to their polling place! (after telling them about David Wu, of course).
To: Clintonfatigued
In Oregone we don't have polling places. I would have to go door to door to coerce voters for Ameri.

What bothers me more than what Mr. Wu did, is the fact that Ms. Ameri is victimizing the woman all over again. In my opinion, she is using the "victim" card in hopes of winning this election. It bothers me that she has shown little or no respect for the woman Wu "attacked". I endured several years of unwanted physical/verbal advances by a male supervisor. I spoke out, but to no avail even though there were other women as well being victimized. I am more offended that a woman would use an ugly life changing thing to better her chances at winning. Mr. Wu was wrong, but so is Ms. Ameri for using another person's pain for her gain.
