Well, let's be honest, here. Anyone wanting to find ugly sounding quotes on FR won't have to dig far. FR has got a lot of great opinions and ideas, but sometimes they're mired in some unpleasent looking threads.
If we really cared about not being smeared (i.e. quoted verbatim), then we should hold ourselves to a higher standard and keep the discourse more civil.
