the authenticity is confirmed........ they are just buying time in order to figure out how to stop the attack... i think the second the cia says "ok, this is a threat" than BOOM, it happens.... however, if they dontr give the people something to fear or threat, they have time to stop events from happening

Officials believe American Adam Yahiye Gadahn appears in tape, promising large attack against America

Gadahn, whose whereabouts are unknown, is believed to have knowledge of an imminent attack on the United States and is being pursued by federal officials.
