Ahh, those tapes... I don't know anything.
I suspect we will be hearing from UBL again quite soon.
Agreed completely. I was very worried that Kerry was going to end up as our president, I know he would not be good for this war we are trying to win. The coming days/weeks may be interesting. I just hope Kerry/Edwards concede tomorrow... it's time to get back to business.
Potential situation emerging. OH to be challenged and IA count suspended.
Bush is at 249 (minus OH)
If he can carry IA (7), NV (5), NM (5), and HA (4), then this will end (we get to 270).
At this moment (1:20am CST), these are the numbers:
IA 96% counted 720,603-709,026 (Bush)
NM 97% counted 270,533-242,012 (Bush)
NV 56% counted 281,385-276,252 (Bush)
HA 0% counted 69,298-55,372 (Kerry)
There was a reason Cheney went to HA and Wesley Clark went to NV at the last minute this evening.
If we don't nail these states (so we don't need OH to get to 270), we are in for another FL in OH.
Others may see this second electoral crisis as an opportunity (or a sign like lightning striking twice) to exploit perceived confusion.
We will know later this morning how irresponsible Kerry wants to be with this.
OH and IA are not good early signs. If this doesn't resolve within 12 hours, we may not have a result for days.
I just heard a TV introduction of John Edwards as "the next vice-president of the United States." Are these people on crack? Every vote will count - and they mean it - their 10,000 attorneys will see to that vote count, sadly for them. A little cold water and a good night's sleep and they'll hopefully see the light!
They just called HA for Kerry.
No way out now.
Back to the future.
smiling....

"This is no ordinary time for America. We've all seen the tape of Osama bin Laden recently. It's a reminder that we are engaged in a global war on terror. This is a conflict we did not choose, but it is one that we will win. We're standing just a few miles from Pearl Harbor, the site of a sudden attack on the U.S., on Sunday, December 7th, 1941. That day our peaceful country found itself in a global struggle that would last four years and would test our patience and resolve as a nation. Fortunately for us all, a great generation of Americans was more than equal to that challenge. They pulled together in freedom's cause, threw back aggression in a two-front war, and aided the rise of democracy in Europe and the Pacific."
I saw that as well. The only word I could relate to it was surreal.
Are these people on crack?
Either that or mushrooms, it was a good year for chantrelles.

They're in a black hole, their light has gone out.
