I almost felt sorry for this guy until I read this"
"Morgan, who left the Mirror in May after publishing faked photographs of British soldiers abusing an Iraqi prisoner, said he was not privy to inside information."
It's 'that' guy. Guess he's out looking for a job...yet again. What a dope.
Picking OPINION #3, please! LOL
re: "Still and Box w/ EMS Plan 1"
A request for multiple combined emergency units (fire, emt, police, etc.) with a minimum of:
5 Ambulances (ALS or BLS)
1 Engine
1 Truck
1 Battalion Chief
1 EMS Field Officer
1 Asst. Deputy Chief Paramedic
In general, not a happy landing. Could be they ran out of peanuts...

Take a look at this FYI.

He is definitely a dope, aren't all left wingers? Hee hee...
Only 2 incidents last week. That's reassuring.
All I can do is offer continuing prayers for all of our troops and coalition forces in Iraq and elsewhere...it remains in God's capable hands.
If the tape was really found in Pakistan it is highly unlikely that an American college student made it. The fact that the online jihadis knew nothing about it makes me wonder if it came from an inner circle (maybe not ordered by UBL himself, you never know).
The language was almost exactly the same as the tapes broadcast in Arabic, many of the same topics were covered.
The fact that it is in English is creepy, much harder for everyone to ignore.
We better get a longer look at this thing though, small clips don't tell any real story.
Ian, I feel the same way about that miserly footage. The speaker appeared and sounded like any American. I did not notice an accent either. He sounded like someone who was unsure of his lines and inexperienced in front of a camera. His heavy gulping breathing is what I saw as affecting his speech, not an accent.
it remains in God's capable hands.
Amen
I don't mean to say that he did not know what he was talking about, but I mean that he acted and sounded similar to an actor who is a newbie and lacks comfort in front of a camera. His finger raising seemed scripted as well.
Still desk bound (and unable to hear audio/video of tape excerpts) and wonder.......In addition to camera shyness, could it be that he understood the magnitude of the message IF and ONLY IF the message was a harbinger of nasty things to come. Hate to be pessimistic, but there are too many unorthodox things about how this tape has come out.
Something fishy's going on.
On another board soneone said the breathing was like some one doing meth.
how can i post pics that are on my hard drive? or do i have to upload them to my web site, and than post them....
I noticed a slight accent. He also pronounced "tyranny" as tie-ranny rather than the more accepted tear-anny.
Retired English teachers notice these things.
The scripted part seems to be a characteristic amongst most videos we see from them. All the beheading videos look the same (setting wise): there is a statement read off a paper, the deed is done.
I have two older as Sahab videos, one is of a man speaking Arabic and speaking in a very similar manner to this 'American.' The other is just a translation with no real video.
The excerpts played on ABC highlighted the exact main points we continually see come from al Qaida.
It's almost like it was made to confuse people. I bet most people will look at it and laugh wondering if this is the best they have got for us.
It's weird to see this in English with Arabic subtitles... It's like bizarro world. ;)
I noticed it just now on the clip they played on Fox News as well. I'm sure the CIA linguists know better than I do. ;)
He didn't strike me as being camera shy at all; he struck me as someone filled with zest but it all seemed a bit scripted yet less than flawless.
Anyone who does acting or public speaking or meeting presentations will recognize that he was a tad nervous and this made him breath heavily, loudly and frequently. His nervousness came out in these ways; not in making him camera shy or hesitant.
Also, the way he stuck his fingers up at one point seemed entirely scripted to me. This is all just my opinion.
