The Threat Matrix
The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. YOU Be The Judge and Get Informed!

ATLANTA (CNN) -- As more than one billion Muslims prepare to celebrate Ramadan, terror experts are mixed about whether the holy month is a tool for recruiting terrorists. Some terrorism experts and Islamic scholars say Ramadan gives extremists an opportunity to enlist new recruits. "It's a time which can be exploited by radical clerics to motivate individuals into taking action on the basis they are somehow serving their religion," says terror expert M.J. Gohel. And analysts see another temptation for terrorists: exploiting the Battle of Badr, a symbolic date in Muslim history, which falls near the U.S. presidential election. |

Thanks callmejoe.
That was a thoughtful response.
Kerry the anti-Christ?
Well maybe, but I think Clinton beat him to it.

Suspicious note prompts delay of flight SAN FRANCISCO (AP) A note found on a food cart prompted authorities to pull a United Airlines passenger jet from service Sunday at San Francisco International Airport.
The passengers ticketed for Flight 150 to Chicago had yet to board when the note was discovered by a crew member loading a catering cart. The passengers were transferred to another plane, causing a delay of about two hours, airport spokesman Mike McCarron said.
McCarron characterized the note as suspicious but would not say what it said.
The plane was returned to service after a police search revealed nothing unusual, McCarron said.
The incident caused no other delays at the airport.

If the note's message was disturbing enough to cause a flight delay, I would like to know what the note said.
ON THE OTHER HAND, if we knew what the note said, copycats would try to emulate that note.
Hmmm....

Do gold and the dollar normally drop the week before a presidential election? It'd be interesting to see the history of that.

Hmmm, I have a t-shirt which declares me to be an Orthodox Christian in a variety of languages, including Arabic. (The Arabic translates literally as "Roman Orthodox"--the Arabs like the Turks understood that it was still the Roman Empire, not as post-Enlightenment pagan-sympathetic Western Europeans would call it the "Byzantine Empire". If you ever write to the Ecumenical Patriarch, his address in Istanbul includes the phrase "Rum Patrikhi"= Roman Patriarchate.)

Kerry the anti-Christ? Well maybe, but I think Clinton beat him to it.Neither one of those Bozos is bright enough or winsome enough to attract their opposition as the AntiChrist will do. But it wouldn't surprise me to see Clinton become head of the UN and hand over world power to the real deal. I doubt I'll be here to see it.....but I'll have great seats! Right in the middle of the Heavenly freeper block!

I think that at this stage in the game, widespread election day attacks that cause general panic may be the most effective.Remembering this post is why my wife and I waited in line for nearly 2.5 hours today to cast our votes for a straight Republican ticket.
