Also, good news out of Iowa. Rasmussen's one week polling data from Iowa has Kerry 50%-46%. That's a 7 point gain for Kerry from last week, where Bush had the lead 48%-45%.

Good News?

Typical, the undecided are taking a last look at the challenger. Good. This ought to keep anyone in the Bush camp from being complacent during the last 3 weeks.

What dates do the state polls cover?

If the polls are within the margin of error, then it will all boil down to turnout, turnout. We could win all the states mentioned above if we all flock to the polls on Nov. 2.

Is that your warped opinion or are you quoting someone?

The Iowa result looks strange, as several other concurrent polls show Bush slightly ahead in this state or only 1 point ahead (Chicago Tribune, Strategic Vision [R], Survey USA, Harstead Strategy [D] and Humphrey Institute).

But, except for this result, everything else looks fine. Most importantly, Bush is ahead in Florida and Ohio.

Florida, I believe, will be ours, no problem. Bush will run ahead of his nationwide number in Florida by several points.

The Battleground, this year, is the Big 10 conference, from the Nittany Lions to the Buckeyes, to the Badgers, Hawkeyes and Golden Gophers.

Last Friday President Bush did better on the Domestic issues than he did on Foreign Policy. Kerry's answers on Abortion and Stem Cell questions were as lame as it gets, yet Kerry has all but guaranteed himself a victory in tomorrow nights debate.

I honestly believe John Kerry cannot defend his economic positions, Tax positions, Health Care positions, or his Kitchen table issues. (I say "positions" because they are multiple)

On the economy... John Kerry believes raising taxes on the bread winners of this economy who make over $200,000 will somehow create jobs! I have yet to hear him explain this in a coherent manner.

On Taxes... John Kerry thinks raising taxes on 900,000 small businesses who pay taxes at the individual rate, and raising taxes on the people who actually earn over $200,000, will somehow stimulate the economy and therefore generate more tax revenue. He simply doesn't get it! Growing the economy is always better than growing the government! IT'S SIMPLE, IT REALLY IS

On Health Care... John Kerry believes that is he cuts back the Tax brakes for the top 2% of wage earners he can increase the revenue to the federal government enough to provide guaranteed Heath Care to all Americans. Once again Kerry believes everyone who earns under $200,000 must rely on the Government to provide for them.

On Kitchen Table Issues... John Kerry believes the family values most of us cherish are outdated and not in line with the "Progressive" times we live in. He believes that he and those in power should dictate our values and if his beliefs can't pass congressional scrutiny, we need judges on the bench to override the will of the people, (for our own good of coarse).

I believe this country has seen what 50 years of liberalism has gotten us and the tide is changing. It's liberals like Kerry who got us in the mess, where excellence is no longer rewarded and nobody is responsible for their own actions.

When Excellence is no longer rewarded it will no longer exist

When nobody is responsible, justice will cease to exist

There seems to have been almost a universal 1-3 pt drop for Bush in tracking polls coming out today. Is it due to polling over a 3 day weekend or the Christopher Reeves death, I wonder.
If it is the C. Reeves thing then that means people are so shallow that they consider this more important than Kerry's "nusiance" remark. Sad.
Hopefully it's just the 3 day weekend polling.
