O'Reilly: "I'm Sick Of Talking About Iraq"
Fox News The Factor | 10-12-04 | my favorite headache

Posted on 10/12/2004 5:32:28 PM PDT by My Favorite Headache

Subject says it all...O'Reilly just came back and said on live television:

"I am so sick of talking about the war in Iraq, I know it's important and all but we need to talk about something else more important."

Great Bill...bet the soldiers love hearing that. Bill playing both sides tonight..first Sinclair guy he gave some hell to for airing Stolen Honor...now he is blowing Lanny Davis on live TV.

This was my latest email to O'Reilly:

Bill -- So you have pronounced that if President Bush does not do well in the second debate that he will not win reelection. First, your pronouncement does not make it so. Second, those of us who will vote for President Bush are not doing so because of debates. We have witnessed his four years as President and will make our decision accordingly, certainly not based on a debate. We are not electing the Great Debator, we are electing a Commander in Chief. Third, the weak minded of your audience may think that they should not vote for Bush if they did not like his participation in the debate based on your pronouncement, and that is irresponsible and reckless of you if you actually were as powerful as you seem to think you are. Your ego has reduced your importance to your core group of supporters.

When he read one of my emails on the air it was totally butchered and "spun".

O'Reilly is looking out for O'Reilly. He was at his best when going after activist judges and looking out for kids.

Because Bill and kids are on the same maturity level.

I noticed O'Reilly passed along the liberal spin about having no way out, it is a mess, etc. He manages to get his leftest points in there.

The icing tonight was when he said Lanny Davis was not "spinning".....what a laugh.

Damn that sonuvabitch O'Reilly! He is a sniveling leftie who's been trying to pass as a moderate for years now.

FOX should ditch him and give Linda Vester his spot.

One more thing....everyone should e-mail O'Reilly and ask him how spreading the lies of the liberal media on the war in Iraq is "Fair and Balanced"?

OR just wants to expand his universe. He is looking for a MSM job and is now interviewing for it by taking a "fair and balanced" approach to everything. He also has had a relationship with Kerry for 30 years and wants to trade on it.

His basic problem is his own sense of self importance. He actually works excessively long and hard hours both on TV and the radio. He does not have the time to adequately prepare or carefully reflect on what he has to say. What he has to say is premised on the "fair and balanced." In doing this he loses sight of the truth and deconstructs all positions as merely being a portion of a political belief ----no real truth available or allowed.

The sine qua non of a true leftist is the conviction there is no such thing as truth or moral certainty. Everything is just one big election or political position subject to change. OR has not got there yet, but when he does, and if he does, he will cease to have anything to offer at all.

Finally, like many in the 20% of the population who make their living manipulating symbols or otherwise functioning in the knowledge economy he believes in his heart that he knows better than the average person how an average person wants to live. Ultimately, people in OR'S cohort dislike true democracy or personal freedom--they want some sort of over reaching and powerful societal force to make everyone believe and exist in the leftist ideal.

"I am so sick of talking about the war in Iraq,"

There's a coincidence...I am sick of hearing you talk about the war too.

"I'm sick of talking about Iraq"

Well, Bill, I'm sick of hearing your voice and seeing your face. That's why I never watch you anymore. In fact, I don't even watch Fox because one of the spots for your show will come on and there's your ugly face again. Rhetorical question for you, Bill -- If you're sick of talking about Iraq, then why do you keep doing it?

"He actually works excessively long and hard hours both on TV and the radio."

I'm wondering how you came by this information. What I've read is that the reason his radio show has failed to compete is because he's absent so much -- taking vacations. He has a staff who will research any subject he's interested in and hand off a sufficiently detailed abstract to him. But he doesn't use them. Apparently, he's too lazy to study even that much and it shows. I've seen guests on his show nail him to the wall when he parades his ignorance. Ann Coulter slapped him silly one night for just this reason.

Doesn't sound like he is tired of trying to entice young females to share phone sex with him.
