With the fantastic response of the previous day of prayer, Faith, OhioWFan, Kayak and those involved with the Pray for Bush effort are offering Freepers the opportunity to once again bathe the President in prayer between now and the completion of the 3rd debate. With the dirty tricks being played by the left, I'm sure you can agree that this is needed and welcomed. Please pick an hour listed below (in Eastern Standard Time) let us know if you would like to participate. More than one person may sign up for a particular time, but let's try to fill each slot first so that we definately have all 24 hours covered.

Thanks to alpha-8-25-02 for posting both the 27th Psalm, which I understand is a favorite of the President, but also verses from Romans 5, one of my favorite passages, as well as the prayer and quote from Spurgeon (also a favorite of mine).

I just was out this afternoon on a trip to the library and came back with such a sense of discouragement...not necessarily about GWB losing the election, but from the evil I seem to encounter, much of which is related to the election.

I became aware of a website which is orchestratiing a swap of votes on the liberal side, nothing but wicked, but apparently not quite illegal, just horribly, horribly immoral!

Then, walking through the community room on my way to my apartment, I came close to being assaulted by one of the tenants because I would not agree with his assessment that Kerry will win in a landslide. He, like many liberals, just has so much hatred in his heart for the President, and couldn't come up with one good reason to vote for Kerry except that hatred of the current leader of our country.

Also, in my mailbox today was a letter from an old, but very liberal and outspoken friend back in Minnesota...I didn't even open it because I know what poison politics it contains.

All this and more have affected me so much that I'm just nauseous! While I pray for the president, I need to pray that God will give me a sense of confidence and assurance that God is still in control.

God, please quiet my heart and the hearts of others who struggle with this battle of good vs. evil, right vs. wrong!

  Lord we humbly ask of you to please bless our military, President Bush and the war on evil. Lord we always ask for blessings for our families and our churches and our towns -- and you continue to faithfully answer us and guide and comfort us --- but today we especially ask the Lord Almighty and the host of Angels to watch over this Nation and its leader. Lord let President Bush be your servant of excellence. Lord we know you appoint Leaders and raise up Nations and the outcome is in your hands only. Lord let GW be victorious over Mr Kerry and demonstrate your strong aversion to hedonist and heathen intentions. Lord let Kerry's plots and plans become a pitfall and trap for those who are your enemies. Lord you have seen it all before and are not mocked by those who plot against your people and you will bring judgement upon them. Lord bring a blessing to the people of the USA through Mr Bush, if it be in your will.
