Linda Vester is currentlly interviewing Chad Clanton, described as a 'senior Kerry campaign advisor.'

Discussing the plans of the Sinclair broadcasting group to air "Stolen Honor," the documentary about Kerry's Vietnam war service, Clanton stated:

"They [Sinclair] better hope that we're not elected."

Vester immediately asked if that was intended as a threat to Sinclair that a Kerry administration would not renew their broadcast licenses. Clanton tried to back off, but the threat was unmistakable.

These people are thugs.

Apparently, Chad also incorrectly states that the FCC has issued a statement, when, in fact, it is just one member of the FCC, posted elsewhere on FR.

Here's a question .. How did Chad know about this information before the FCC Commissioner released it??

Worst thing the kerry campaign could say. Sinclair offered kerry equal time to answer charges of the film makes. Kerry will not do this because he would have to disclose 31 pieces of paper that he does not want the Navy to release, because it will sink his campaign.

BUT...The campaign has a hard time attacking vets directly, so like they did to the publishers of "unfit for command" they threaten the messanger.

The American people (swing voters) will see the hubabaloo and wonder why kerry will not release the records.

Copps is being touted as the next FCC chair if Kerry is voted in come November...
