Well trolling is a method of fishing, usually on a lake or the ocean where bait or lure is towed through the water at a certain speed to simulate an injured fish or other easy meal for the particular game fish you are pursuing.

But not in this place.

A troll is a disruptor or dirtbag that joins this site and posts inflamitory articles or vanities.

A ZOT is Free Republics method of purging the site of trolls.

I'm sure someone will post the link for the storied history of the ZOT!
