Some marchers at today's downtown peace rally to mark the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi responded agressively to a handful of conservative counter-demonstrators, leading to a bit of shoving and one marcher being thrown to the ground by police.
While the marchers were peaceful and polite in general, a couple of the demonstrators physically confronted a small group holding signs in support of the president and the war in Iraq.

Freepers, make sure you check out the pictures. The one of Lauren Conner holding a sign in front of the dirty hippy is classic. To me, it looks like the epitome of the new conservative activist that I talk about in my book, "The Conservative Revolution." She is confident, confrontational and not afraid to speak out admidst a sea of angry leftists.
Ahem.. There is a rule that something has to be posted in regards to any thread that mentions Protest Warrior....

Confront the leftist traitors bump.
I've never seen that Bin Laden sign before at a PW rally. Curious what it says.

There's just something warm and fuzzy about peaceniks turning violent, I can't put my finger on it.
Hey, I recognize that guy. I tore one of his arguments apart at a Nader rally in Austin
Just more proof that liberals/protesters are not peaceful. They are peaceful around people who agree with them but once they see a conservative they have no problem intimidating them.
Sorry the video is not working. Hopefully the guy is working on his website to fix it.
That pic of Lauren is really great! Right-wingers finally taking our streets back from the degenerate!
Way to go!
Crap you're right. I wanted to see it too.
I loved watching the earlier ones of the NYC and San Francisco protests in 03.
