Get Kerry for me, here is my story:

I am the wife of a Vietnam War Era Veteran lately I’ve been getting rather nasty remarks. The other day a co-worker laughingly asked me how sure I was that my husband never raped anyone in Vietnam.

Last week our 31 year old daughter asked my husband, in tears, if he ever did any of those things that Kerry accused the Vietnam Veterans of doing. This was very hurtful to my husband. For my husband and I, it is like living the nightmare of the Vietnam War all over again.

I resent Kerry for all that he has put the Vietnam Veterans and their families through. I will, also, always resent those ignorant Americans (Including Kerry) who rub such nonsense in our faces.

Kerry won three Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star and Silver Star for his Vietnam War combat. Let’s face it, only a rich boy could get all these metals in a less than 4 months war record. Let us get real here, those are too many metals to be won in such a short time. I think that the one who went over board was Kerry. The question should be, “Did Kerry have an obsession for collecting war metals or was he just a rich boy wanting to make himself seem like he was superior to all the other Vietnam War veterans, of which the majority were poor young men?” Why is it that out of all the military men during the Vietnam Era only a rich boy like Kerry knew that he would get an automatic discharge if he received 3 purple heart metals?

I believe that Kerry should apologize to the 2.5 million Vietnam Veterans. I urge Kerry to denounce his smear of the Vietnam Veterans and apologize to the Vietnam Veterans.

I think it was Aristotle who said, "The reward of virtue is virtue; the price of vice is vice."

Nothing will ever take away from the honor of your husband's service. And nothing will ever erase John Kerry's ignominy. Both men's just rewards are both here and in the hereafter.

I was engaged to a guy who served in Nam and he wrote to me about every day and he NEVER mentioned ANY of the atrocities that Kerry accused our soldiers of. I broke off the engagement, but I still have respect for the soldier. He is a good man, successful with wife, kids, his own business. I lost two old friends in Nam, and I do not believe they ever committed these atrocities either! God bless their souls. Nice guys.

Kerry besides apologizing to the millions of Nam Vets, needs to apologize to every family member of Nam Vets alive or dead.

Then, he should resign from the Senate and go to Paris or Hanoi to live.

Let's get really real! Kerry amassed those 5 medals not in 4 months, but 22 days. Remember, his first so-called purple heart injury was rejected at the time that it happened, and Kerry only got it months later when he re-applied with an unknowing commander in a different division who didn't know the facts of the injury. He did not receive the Purple Heart for this injury until after he had received his second injury. So the second injury is what defines the the starting window. That was Feb. 20. By March 13, 22 days later, Kerry had amassed 3 purple hearts, a bronze star and a silver star, all based upon his own self-described after-action reports... 22 days... just over three weeks and Kerry was out the door, or at least had the authorization to return based upon a trumped up technicality fabricated over 22 days!.

Your post brought me to tears, thinking about your daughter asking her dad about such horrible things. Because of Kerry's lies, your daughter went through such pain and confusion.

He is still causing so much pain to veterans and their families.

The depth of contempt I have for him cannot be measured.

Please thank your husband for serving and welcome to FR.

Dear Sadie,
I am so sorry for your & your husband's torment. There are such tragically pathetic people in this world. God Bless you and your family, and thank your husband for us,for his service to this country. He's a hero in my book.
Kerry is going to Hell on a greased pole, but in the meantime,he will simply go back to Massachusetts,a lowly and broken man, after November 2.Let not your heart be troubled!
