To be fair... this is in fact a mis-quote of Kerry...

Ah no, to be FAIR, it is not a misquote.

One place where Kerry vows to take a harder line than Bush is Pakistan, where Bush has embraced the military ruler Pervez Musharraf, and where Kerry sees a haven for chaos in the vast and lawless region on the border with Afghanistan.)

So instead of shoring up one of our most important allies in the War on Terror, Kerry's plan is to pick a fight with him! Just how stupid is this guy? How does Kerry figure he can get at the Terrorists in the borderlands if the Pakies are alienated with his treatment of them? How's Kerry going to build a "Stronger coalition" if he is going to spend all his time alienating our most important allies?

Yes, that was a quaint and lovely time, when all you had to do was lob a missile at an aspirin company and an empty training camp from time to time. Those were the days, even if they did lead directly to Clinton's legacy... 9/11.

This is so sick.

This is not a 9/10 vs 9/11 argument.

It shows that Kerry has NO REGARD WHATSOEVER for the thousands of people maimed & killed by terrorists over the last 30+ years.

I guess, for Kerry, the Munich Olypics of '72 was just a nuisance (missed his favorite event??).

Most people in the United States did not consieder terrorism a nuisance prior to 9/11. Most people simply thought that terrorism was something that happened in Israel (and assorted other countries), but not in the US of A! It was therefore under the rader. 9/11 changed that.

But to refer to 30+ years of terrorism as a nuisance proves taht Kerry is so far away from reality, he can't even see it anymore.

Kerry is just a hologram of a gay frenchman. Reality is something a liberal can never adapt and survive infinitely. I have often said a liberal will F-Up a wet dream and skerry is a F-Up. Bush/Cheney 2004

Kerry said what he said - you can see why his handlers wouldn't let him in public alone all these months. Now he has to be out here - and he opens his mouth, and sh--- comes out. The man's brain cells are not connecting

you might call this his :"Nuisance Nuance" - ie, we're all to stupid to understand him,
By the way - Bush's college SAT scores were higher that Kerry's - but I guess he must have skipped Nuance 101

Jere it is - nuance away

..."the interviewer asked Kerry "what it would take for Americans to feel safe again."

''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance,'' the article states as the Massachusetts senator's reply.

''As a former law enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling. But we're going to reduce it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the rise. It isn't threatening people's lives every day, and fundamentally, it's something that you continue to fight, but it's not threatening the fabric of your life.''

This line will be picked up and run just like the Willie Horton thing. Kerry is an utter a-hole, and deserves it for his pitiful use of the English language.

except unlike the Willy HOrton ad - Kerry said this himself - no one to blame. This is who is is -
his brain in nuanced

Things that are a nuisance: garbage strikes, telemarketing, your neighbor's dogs barking, your bathroom toilet overflowing, your mother-in-law coming to visit for six months, a monkey escapes from the zoo and sets up shop in your garage, your roof leaks, some punk kids spray paint "dopey" on your garage door, your daugher coming home drunk and throwing up on the kitchen floor, your 2,000 Angus bull getting out and running amok, Delta airlines telling you that your flight got canceled, the grocery store running out of diet-rite drinks, Wal-Mart announcing a half-price sale on waffles but only at midnight to 1 am, and your cable-tv service crapping out two hours before the super-bowl.

Things that aren't a nuisance: someone just blow away your grandma at the frontdoor, your daughter sitting comatose in a hospital because of underage over drinking, the government telling you that your social security may not exist in 20 years, three thousand people dying because some Islamic character said they weren't innocent enough to live, and drug dealers setting themselves up just across from your house.

For Mr. Kerry....the definition of nuisance apparently is a little different from the average American. And perhaps its something that he doesn't understand. But do we need sit around for four years waiting for President Kerry to figure out whats a nuisance and whats a real-life problem?

Allow me....

IMHO, what kerry meant by his statement was, that he DROVE WAS DRIVEN BY a Holiday Inn Express once.....

Prolly in an SUV. But it belonged to his FAMILY. See, that's OK. His driver neither made $200,000 NOR grasped his foreign policy.

Yes when I fall asleep at night in summer and I hear a mosquito buzzing around my sleepy head I feel that they are a nuisance. I can really understand Kerry calling terrorists nuisances.

P.S. Yesterday the doctor said I should take some more pills for my illness. I caught malaria in a jungle whilst I was in Sumatra and have never been deluded ever since. I am voting for JFK - All the Way with JFK, if I can just make my way out of this darn asylum.

photo of Kerry on multi-thousand $ bike in all his cute little spandex and matching colors on helmet - there's something about this that make me very uneasy thinking about having our lives in his hands.

Now a photo of "W" in his jeans and Carhart coat - out clearing brush or doing the ax toss - yeah, that's my man...
