233 members of Congress have visited the troops in Iraq so far.
One hundred ninety-one were House members:
121 Republicans, and 70 Democrats.
Forty-two were senators: 24 Republicans and 18 Dems.
Eight senators have made two trips, and one has made three.
Neither Kerry nor Edwards has taken time away from manicures, hairstyling appointments, and campaign stops
to talk to the men and women who are putting their lives on the line in Iraq
and to see the facts on the ground.
That's leadership for you.

In European circles, to blame America for everything is Chic. Has been for a long time. I think the Euros really are bitter that we bailed them out in WWII. As for the terrorists, well I don't think they're as worried about who's elected as we are worried. They're going to do the same things. It would just be easier under a Kerry administration.
Just wondering: If all these martyrs get 72 virgins when they die, won't they run out of virgins eventually? I really am curious about that, not just jesting.

Those words would have to come from a leader. John Kerry is not a leader, his only contribution to anything involving the security of this country, was to criticize the leadership of every military action we have ever undertaken.
His record is clear

That is exactly my beef. Kerry want to be Commander in Chief, yet he has not found it necessary to visit the troops either in Afghanistan or in Iraq. Neither has he found it necessary to visit the wounded at Walter Reed or any military hospital here in the states. Or comfort the widows, husbands, children, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters of thos brave troops who gave their lives.
I don't think so

"If all these martyrs get 72 virgins when they die, won't they run out of virgins eventually?" Maybe that is why they are targeting schools full of young children and strapping their own kids for detonation.

Correct you are.
Come to think of it, if C-BS had done something similar, they wouldn't be in such trouble either.
Whatever happened to leadership, statesmanship and diplomacy? Common sense?

I am not familiar with their accomodations that night, but their bodies would probably fit comfortably into a single bed, providing that each had a king sized bed, for trheir big fat heads.

I'd also like to see the documentation on him visiting any troops in the hospital. I can't find not one google reference.

Kerry wants to be Commander in Chief John Kerry has publicly stated that he a has *No Clue* why Dubya is in Iraq.
Great.
If John Kerry was Commander in Chief, he would, in his mind, be in a quagmire, on day one of his on-the-job training.
It would be Saigon 1975 all over again.

That's what he claims, but there is a whole analysis about the timeline, that he may have been there shortly afterwards, but doubtful he was actually there for the signing.

He also said he was in Iraq at the signing of the armistice after GW I. He wasn't, he was there a couple of weeks later with a group of Senators visiting troops.
Just amazing how he can talk about being someplace and 'I could feel the land whatever blah blah blah...' and NO-ONE but us calls him on it!!!
