Kerry: "...And looking around here, at this group here, I suspect there are only three people here who are going to be affected: the president, me, and, Charlie, I'm sorry, you too."
Kerry speaking in last evening's debate about his plan to raise taxes on people making 200k+ annually. So now John Kerry is prejudging people by just looking at them to determine their income?!? He decided that the only people in the room that qualified as his new tax-hike victims were himself, Bush and Charlie Gibson! Wow, a big criticism many liberals have of Bush is his supposed "arrogance", there was simply nothing more arrogant and ignorant than that statement that Kerry made and it will probably haunt his campaign...
Wouldn't signs saying, "Mr Kerry, Look at me. How much do I make?" be a good idea at Kerry events?
Proof his vote against the Gulf War which had the largest coalition in recent history. Nothing no action no matter how bad against the US would ever pass his global test and these irrevocable mistakes will lead to the end of the US as we know it...Be very afraid of this man
................
VERY.
We would quickly be under the rule of the UN - see here for Kerry's own words - that explains his "Global Test" - (tho' not his further explantion that he meant "not just Global but elsewhere." Is this what he means by 'foreign leaders who support him? The leaders of Mars, or maybe further Out.)

Im an internationalist, Kerry told The Crimson ...Id like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.
WE ARE at a "paradigm shift" crossroad in the History of this planet - Kerry is only a puppet. He dances to the strings manipulated by Teddy. And Teddy is a sell out to people that would make your blood curdle.
Same mind set as "let them run around naked a bit" TAH_RAH_ZAH...
Earth to Kerry, Earth to Kerry. Get a life, over.
Do senators make more than $200K a year?
*****This is a barf alert , but I always wonder - do you think Kerry and Mama T actually have sex ?*****
Are you kidding me, she wouldn't even kiss him on stage. I don't think there is any sex going on between them. Now Kerry is another story.
Kerry's calling Bush out of touch, and then spouts off about how there's only 3 in the room making 200K.
I know floor tiler's that pull down that much.
And TeRAIDza is probably generating an income over 200K, did he forget her?
We like to call the 'common riff-raff' the 'hoi polloi.'
and not only that, apparently he can magically bequeath small businesses to you like he did GWB with a timber business (my favorite line from the debate "Need some wood?" (2nd favorite was "you can run but you can't hide")
I heard that too, but I can't see how it could be true, because Gallup "supposedly" didn't tell them what the intentions of the interview were (ie they didn't know they were interviewing to be debate participants)
One thing that is peculiar about the legal profession is that the demand for legal services increases with the number of lawyers (since much of the demand is self-generated).
When President Bush said, "I own a lumber mill?" "That's news to me!" - "Need some wood?" - Kerry sunk even further. I think Kerry had rehearsed and thought it would seem empathetic to let the people in the town hall meeting know he understood their pain. I read somewhere he was relying on 2001 information about Bush's business investments. . outdated.
So that wasn't a mistake that the President called him Kennedy last night.. .OMG it all makes such sense ..
I think it's more than that --- aristocrats like the poor class just fine --- they can manipulate them, feel sorry for them --- but the middle class is different --- we don't envy the wealthy, we're content with working to get ahead, we're not easily controlled by elitists. Poor people know their place better, they make good serfs when you need serfs --- the middle class is too uppity for someone like Kerry --- you see that same attitude in some of the Kennedys too.
That's why tax cuts for the middle class is something Kerry can't even bring himself to mention --- he mention tax cuts for the rich, he mentioned how the non-working -- the poor class didn't get them --- but it really bothers him that the middle class actually has some money too and got some of it back.
Sometimes I think Bush is actually very very devious. Even with his "blundering" in the first debate --- what if it was just a slick trick --- make Kerry over-confident for the second. It seems to me like that's just what he might have done --- tripped up Kerry deliberately --- make Kerry far too overconfident so he would appear haughty and smug --- even more unlikeable.
She doesn't EARN it though -- so the media guy and the President and the Senator would actually have that money in salary --- Teraeza's is money coming in from her first husband's invested wealth. Kerry of course would only be paid $158,000 a year salary -- almost would be just a peon -- but he probably considers being married to Teresa as a type of job.
After he denigrated the people there with his comment that only he and Bush and Gibson make over 200 G's a year, Bush should have looked at the people gathered there and said:
"I believe some of you here most likely make over $200,000 a year with your salary combined with your spouse's.
Those of you who do, I am sure you don't consider yourselves "rich". But my opponent does, and he is going to tax you."
The top 5% of taxpayers make over about $155,000 and Kerry will tax them.
They are the "rich" that should be taxed. And they don't have a coven of lawyers to show them the loopholes that Mrs. Kerry and her parasite husband and Edwards have.
But he and his wife will pay little taxes, as will Edwards.
I'd rather dig ditches...
:>)
BTTT
Evidently John Kerry does not know that in St. Louis County the income per capita is one of the highest in the USA.
