You're right. I guess I was assuming that Senator Kerry was even right about that. I couldn't find it either!
What's unbelievable is that I actually saw some dimwitted female on MSNBC make it sound like Bush was lying about this.
That's fine. Let them get clogged up in minutae. If they really think this election is going to hinge on whether or not Cheney had breakfast with Edwards 3 years ago, or whether or not Bush remembered $ 84 in dividends on his tax return, then Bring. It. On.
First of all this is an Oil & Gas company, not a timber company. Secondly, profits from an S-Corp come accross to a personal income tax return in the form of a K-1, not a Schedule C. This is not S-Corp income.

LOL! (and welcome to FR)
From what I understand, last year Bush paid about 3 times the taxes of Kerry. And Kerry is what, 20 times richer than Bush?
Isn't it funny, the tax hiker must really be working hard at avoiding paying taxes. Let the little people pay it.
This was posted by ohioWfan on last nights live thread. Love it!
Kerry's attitude towards taxpayers really gets on my nerves.
I am praying that the "Right at the camera" line is F'n's "Read My Lips".
you are right. go to fact check, they acknowledge that even they got it wrong. the oil and gas outfit eventually bought a 50% interest in a tree company, but it was after the $84 payment. Kerry goofed.
