Is anyone voting for Badnarik? I understand that Libertarianism is a great idealogy, maybe even superior to Republicanism.... but I really don't want a lot of good conservatives to turn their back on the President because of fiscal isses. This election is too close for people making protest votes... its the equivalent of the liberal Nader voters.

  1. Open boarders, no passports, no visas
  2. Same sex marriage, incestual marriage legal
  3. Drugs legal for all, even minors
  4. No war on terrorism
  5. No FDA or drug testing or prescriptions required

Libertarianism with a small "l" isn't so bad, or better yet, classic liberalism, but the Libertarian Party is infested with self-centered dopes that love to use the fringe, and often destructive parts of society as the battleground for their delusional ideas. The half percent of the vote they got in 2000 is probably an unreachable dream this time around.

So this is a free country only if you vote for Republicans or Democrats, eh?

"Be a good monarchist. Vote for King George in 1774."

NO kidding, I made the mistake of voting my conscience on Bush I's re-election; thought no way Clinton could win!
I voted for Harry Brown, a self-made millionaire and fiscal conservative. If you had heard his acceptance speech at the Libertarian convention, you would have liked to vote for him too..... But the libertarian party platform is right on target. You don't commit a crime unless you hurt someone else, (yes Enron qualifies). No illegal drugs (if your over 21). And a LOT LESS GOVERNMENT.
