President Bush and Senator Flipper squared off tonight in Missouri for their second debate and our President knocked it out of the park
ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO SANITY ISLAND!
God bless you and your parents. Sending prayers now!
Great Job Registered :-)
Thanks for all your kind words and prayers. I am going to try to get a bit of sleep now.
God Bless America and your President and Vice President and God Bless all at the FR.
Good night all.
God bless you, my friend, and God bless England and all who rule her. Sleep well in our God's Precious Love.
What an incredible story about the will to live, Thanks for sharing it with us, and God blessed you with a healthy and strong baby.
Thank God both you and your baby had access to good medical care and survived! It indeed was a life threatening situation--but as you pointed out, a partial birth abortion would NOT have helped--in fact, delivering the baby vaginally would have been much more risky to both you and your baby.
The wood comment....Kerry made some strange claim about the President owning some shares in a timber business.
Apparently that wasn't even close to being true. The look on the President's face was great.
He said it's news to me and then made a joke by asking Gibson if he needed to buy any wood.
Dose ping!
Did you hear that Karen Hughes made the President watch the last debate tape?
She sat his little behind down and made him watch himself.
Apparently he didn't care for his last performance either.
I wonder what that must be like, to have the influence with the President to make him do something!
I saw Karen Hughes was on but didn't hear her comments because mr.h called. I just love her. I think she is one of the few women--or men for that matter--who can "make" the President do anything. Whatever she did, or made him do, obviously worked to improve this debate!
She didn't say it on tv this evening I don't think. I heard it earlier.
It definitely worked. He was amazing!
Thank you for your reply. Darn I missed it , must have been a good moment. I have been wondering all night what I missed. I understand now what all the comments have been about. LOL
Not sure what was up with the lighting but Kerry looked awful. No wonder he uses spray on tan...he looked so pasty; almost unhealthy. YIKES!
I heard Mort, Fred and Kristol too...they don't know what they are talking about although I do agree with Mort that W needs to bring up Kerry's opposition to GHWBush's coalition and the first Gulf War. Should also point out that Kerry said that if he had known that war would take less than 60 days and less than 100 casualties, he would have been for it. Sort of like his "ultimately, it depends on the outcome" in response to the question about whether the Iraq war was worth it.
Kerry is total scum...
I stepped out of the room when Kerry made the statement about the "Timber Business." Can anyone tell me exactly what that was about?
It was a bad moment for Flipper, he was actually laughed at for that remark and Dubya made the best of it. :-)
WE were yelling at the t.v. when the woman asked that question! they wanted a sound bite for a Kerry ad. These questions were so skewed against G.W. it made me mad...but thankfully he did a very good job against lurch. I was pleased with his performance last night.
Hello Emily IMHO I also believe he did very well must be very difficulty against someone with no personality but still a very skilled debater.
Indeed this year Veterans Day is November 2.
Get some for those who no longer can Vote Bush - Cheney.
When Fox News decides to try to convince viewers that they didn't see what they actually DID see (i.e. a total BLOWOUT of Kerry by the President), it's time for a few e-mails.
As for not mentioning Kerry's Gulf War vote, yeah...it would have been nice, but he can't say everything, and he scored a zillion points on Kerry's record (or lack thereof). There wasn't time to cover all of it.
The President was MAGNIFICENT!
