Name dropping is the exact phrase that came to mind when Kerry mentioned Christopher Reeve was a friend of his. I couldn't help but laugh when he did that.You know what I think when I hear Reeves and now Michael J Fox ?

I noticed how every time F'n was asked a semi-tough question he would quickly segue into an attack on Bush. This plays to the hard left base, but it doesn't draw many swing voters as they are smart enough to see the evasion in Kerrys' general responses (more Clinton?). One thing I will say for Kerry. He has a shiny new cleaned clock, and President Bush did the cleaning.

Bush might need to brush off his jacket and press his shirt, but Kerry is going to need intensive care. Kerry sure looked beaten up after the debate! The President was just bouncing, he was so jazzed. Kerry looked like a deflated balloon.

Thats because you don't understand it Dan. Drugs are a 135 billion dollar industry in America. In Canada the drug industry tops out at 5 billion. They import another billion from America. They couldn't supply Detroit with American drugs from Canada. That's not getting out to the voters, particulary the seniors. All anyone hears is "Same drugs are cheaper in Canada."(subsidized, I know) and "Why do they cost more here?".
It's not going over well as far away as 100 miles from the border.
