I noticed how every time F'n was asked a semi-tough question he would quickly segue into an attack on Bush. This plays to the hard left base, but it doesn't draw many swing voters as they are smart enough to see the evasion in Kerrys' general responses (more Clinton?). One thing I will say for Kerry. He has a shiny new cleaned clock, and President Bush did the cleaning.
Kerry was boring. There was no substance, nothing to grab onto.

I heard on the radio that CSPAN had the questions on the screen, so viewers could be reminded if the speaker was actually addressing the question. I don't know how many viewers CSPAN has for these events. They never say. Rather they say they do not get any ratings numbers.
It surely would have been easy to see that Kerry didn't stay anywhere near his question so many times.
