October 8th Bush/Kerry Debate
Did anyone tape this?!?! I missed it due to family being here- I'd gladly pay for a copy!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!
I couldn't help it. Over at DU, I found this:
"Thank GOD a candidate aknowledges Atheists! We really do exist afterall."
Who else finds that ironic? ;-)
Brian Williams just explained that in 2000 bush was part owner of a small lumber company and made $84.00. And he said he would have been qualified as a small business. I am assuming that Bush doesn't own it anymore.
"...who's mining the store?"
I don't mine, but I do support G.W. Bush for re-election as President in 2004!
Ya done good tonite Dubya, we'll be prayin' for you and Laura and America in the days, weeks and years to come.
:-)
Prez did so good tonight, FReepers can relax in their jammies for the moment. First Down and Goal!!!
Remember the MSM mantra:
Bush wins debate: Call it a draw
Debate is a draw: Kerry wins
Kerry wins debate: The election is over
They're calling it a draw.
He owns a 1% share of some timber company company as noted on factcheck.org (per Brian Williams). In 2001 he earned $84 on that 1% share.
I must agree with you. Some of my closest and longest friends are hard cord Democrats. They're not leftist/socialists but they ARE Democrats. We have them in our families also. I agree that Mr. Hardball was off base.
Now go back to MSNBC and watch Mr. Hardballl with Karen Hughes...
A lot of us were worried. Now we'll all sleep good tonight.
(((SMILING))) Yes we do...LOL...great channel.... ;o) I Love that comment...hadn't thought of it that way!!!
Just stated on MSNBC that on FactCheck. com. GWB used to have stock or was part owner of a lumber company. In 2001 I believe they reported that it was 2001 that GWB received $84.00 from that company that would qualify him as a small business owner.
"Christopher Reeves is a friend of mine---Kerry met him playing polo.....Equivocating science and the future....Kerry is out of it..."
And we're going to make sure he stays out of it...the White House that is...GW ROCKS!!!
If it were a boxing match deadwards would be racing after Kerry's ambulance. Bush might need to brush off his jacket and press his shirt, but Kerry is going to need intensive care.
Bush wiped the floor with Kerry, and Bush was funny at times. Kerry tried humor and it fell flatter than a pancake mama T sat on.
Did Bush miss a few good shots, yeah, but he landed some hammer blows as well. Kerry was rattled, talked in circles, he really needed his cheat sheet.
Yes, I hope he has the opportunity to spin this election like he did the 2002 Dem disaster...claiming it was REALLY good for the Democratic party.
And that's exactly how I feel; if I wanted to listen to that crap, I'd turn on CNN.
I guess he didn't say a word about Kerry not being able to get the word 'paraplegic' out of his mouth for almost half a minute.
Negatives - I didn't like the import perscription drugs answer. No one buys that one. The "Win the Peace" shots wern't returned effectively. Outsourcing wasn't countered at all yet. That's his top weakness.
Positives - Tort reform, addressing costs of businesses. The flips are hurting Kerry. Bush stays the course on Iraq and terror.

Wow, good hearing there. I missed his Halliburton reference completely. He was definitely out of material to try to attack Cheney. Maybe it was after the lumber company. Kerry started to morph into Al Gore tonight. That's good.
I think the results of this debate could be found on sKerry's horse faced daughter when they huggged, not a smile to be found.
