I agree with you about the media. Fox has forgotten who got them to # 1 and if they think the left is going to watch them they are sadly mistaken. They will go downhill fast now since they are becoming like CNNMSNBC et al.

WTF is wrong with fox, they are saying Kerry won??? It would appear that the FOX politcos have come down with a collective case of Beltway Tunnel Vision, and it's a a bad strain. A whole year of 24/7 Presidential Politcs has apparently rendered them incapable of understanding the perceptions or concerns of the average American viewer. They are overly impressed with rhetorical grace and lawyerly logic, which is to say thay they wouldn't recognize the plain-spoken Truth if it jumped up and bit them in their quiche-fattened posteriors. Kerry is one of them. Bush isn't. That's true regardless of political affiliation. They are elitists and he is a common guy who just happened to be born into a rich family, but insists on not acting like it. They don't understand why anyone would behave that way - he doesn't care about being invited to all the right cocktail parties and hobnobbing with the cognoscenti (as they fancy themselves). He's happy chopping wood and clearing brush on his ranch. And that's why I (and millions of other Americans) love this man and think he kicked Kerry's ass tonight. <./rant>

Fox is going to tank because they are now alienating their conservative base but the liberals HATE Fox so there will not be much of an audience for them.

Tonight's debate proves to me even more that Kerry knew the questions in the first debate.

I just sent this email to Fox News:
"Hey, I had a hard time gettin' thru - so I had to use email. Good, good, good, on ya for spinning Bush down like that - even tho' he gave our man one helluva ass-whoopin', but fer crawdad sake..would ya not make it so dang obvious?! Your right-wing yahoo viewers gon' catch on, and they'll see ya as the mercenaries we paid good money for.
So lighten up 'bit, say sum good things about Bush here 'n thar, and we'll keep foolin'em. Vouchers're in the mail for front seats at any Kerry presidential press conference. So keep it up boys, now I best be runnin'..do a little' spinnin' myself.

Re Fox: Considering it was their conservatism that made them #1, you'd think they'd want to keepit that way!
(sigh) It's blogs and talk for me, I am even tired of newspapers!

The final question absolutely SUCKED! It was nothing more than fishing for soundbytes by the Pres listing mistakes he'd made.
Then Kerry got to tell us about mistakes of the Pres. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN KERRY TELLING US ABOUT HIS OWN MISTAKES.
Last question totally $hitty.

Sorry you are wrong. Just talked to a 18 year old and a 14 year old who are just getting intrested in politics for the first time. Both think it was a hands down win for the president. They said Bush made the other guy look stupid.

I dunno what those guys are smoking.
Did Kristol even watch the debate?

"Did Bush rope a dope Kerry with the first debate? Thoughts?"
No way. A good performance by bush in the first debate might have resolved the election once and for all.
To: GOP
The problem is although the online polls are obviously bogus the MSM media always quotes them anyways during the morning news hours(and that will sway at last a couple on-the-fence voters). The following morning after the Edwards-Cheney debate there was a poll quoted on the CBS(I think it was CBS) morning news that said Edwards won by like 10 points. And it's absurd.

The Dems have tunnel vision and shouldn't be driving.

Kerry ran the same debate as he ran last time, just with different lies for this one.
