OTTOWA -- A full-length animated film about the early life of the Prophet Muhammad is being released in North America to help fight anti-Muslim prejudice.
Muhammad: The Last Prophet will be screened in 37 cities, including Toronto, London, Ont. and Windsor, Ont., for one week starting Nov. 14.
The screenings coincide with Eid ul-Fitr, the holiday marking the end of the Islamic fast of Ramadan.
Rabiah Ahmed, spokeswoman for the Council on American Islamic Relations, which is sponsoring the screenings, said studies have shown prejudice decreases when people get accurate information about Islam. She said the film is timed so that Muslim families can celebrate Eid with a film, and also to spread awareness about Islam to the non-Muslim community.
I think I've already seen this movie.
Popeye the sailor man takes on Ali Baba, played by Bluto and his forty thieves. This cartoon features the classic tank roll in the desert and Wimpy even gets a few lines.
My favorite scene happens when the waiter folds the menu, written in Arabic, to reveal "Bacon and Eggs - 45 cents".
AND, you know, until 911, that was all I knew about these freaks and on 911, I learned all I will ever need to know about these vile creatures.
GI Ping
Propaganda from the Islamic death cult. How nice.
Over here...
I hear Muhammad's wife was hot!
Exactly what I was thinking. This could get interesting...
Well, it got the "al Ahzar" stamp of approval, whatever that is.
Whatever that is, it's good enough for me. Wouldn't watch the thing on a bet, though. I'd rather sit through the collected Senate speeches of John Kerry.
It starts out with a prayer by James Carville
Muhammed's sidekick Hassan Sez::
Hassan Chop!!
That 'possible copy of the script" is the same Site from which anyone can download The Life of Mohammad, a biography of the psychopath written by Edward, Canon Sell that was published in 1913, which I have been plugging through my tagline. This biography is complete with source references to original ancient arabic writings and would be a perfect, indesputable medium upon which to base a film on the life of the 'prophet'.
Mel Gibson, you could make this film in Australia, we have lots of camels and goats running wild in the desert and someone has to do it. (Think I'll write to him.)
Exactly. And let me add that everything I need to know about Islam I learned on 9-11.
***Popeye the sailor man takes on Ali Baba, played by Bluto and his forty thieves. This cartoon features the classic tank roll in the desert and Wimpy even gets a few lines. **** "Abu Hassan got it any more!"
One of my favorite cartoons! It and when Popeye meets Sinbad the Sailor! 'Who's the most, popular extraordinary fellow!" "YOU"
Done when animation was it's best, not like that Hanna- Barbara trash of the late 1960's!
Typical.
Half of Islam is actively trying to kill us all and other half is trying to promote tolerance towards it.
You know what would do a lot more good for Islam's image than a stupid cartoon? If they stopped killing every innocent that they could get their hands on.
Do Muhammad and his cute little cartoon buddies hijack planes and fly them into the WTC at the end of the movie? |
I don't think I ever saw that photo before. The dirty bastards...
The main character will not be appearing. Even though he was a man, depicting him would likely cause violent retribution and defeat the point of the film, Islam being such a religion of peace and all that.
