Bush up 1 from yesterday.
(Excerpt) Read more at washingtonpost.com ...
All Bush has to do is be a little fesity tonight, show he cares (is not disengaged), and that he will do his best to keep us safe (he's doing a good job here) and get the economy growing with wise tax policies.
Looking good. The trend is our friend.
I agree with you, i think people are just looking for a reason to vote for Bush and a good debate performance will be it
Good God, Kerry's record is so ridiculous, this should be like shooting retarded fish in a coffee cup.
True. My hunch is that the MSM and the libs are going to be shocked at the magnitude of Bush's victory.
Provided, of course, he doesn't screw up between now and then. Ind. and conservative Dems WANT to vote for him - he needs to close the deal tonight.
All in all, the polls look pretty good - especially the internals.
LOL! "Retarted fish in a coffee cup." Classic.
Actually, the "Kerry" polls do have internal bias. Need to take a look at the polling firm and their methodology.
LOL! Best post of the DAY!
Here is my opinion.
I believe that Bush needs to come out tonight fiesty and
agressive. He needs to boldly paint a picture of a future
terrorist attack in this country and who you would rather have
in the oval office when it happens. It is becoming more obvious by the day that these terrorists are not just giving up.
That we will have to take it to them. There is enough evidence to support this. Beslan, Egypt etc.... needs to be a stark portrayal for the people WHY preemption only makes sense in this type of war. Kerry would wait until attacked and people including children are dead, then seek UN approval, then global approval. I believe that we are at the point where the US, Isreal and Russia just need to go on offensive NOW in Sudan, Syria, Iran and Chechneya.
deal with now before my children or grandchildren are
victimized. Kerry is making this election a referendum on whether pre-emptive war is correct in dealing with terrorism. His view makes no sense in this regard. People will understand and vote preemption I believe especailly after seeing the Egyption and Russian strikes.
Look at this graph. while Bush has definitely passed the 50% average, Kerry has not even on his best days after the convention. Also, note the drop has stopped and Bush has the potential to tonight to move back up.
Yep....and he absolutely needs to bring up the fact that Kerry wants to fight terrorism through legal means (the courts) and what a totally failed policy this was in the 90s
No. Backwards. The badly-done polls invariably seem to show Kerry leading. (Or show Bush with an unbelievable lead!)
Zogby methodology:

IEM vote share market has a better track record than most polls and it last shows Bush 51.8% Kerry 48.4%.
I think I am going to invest in Malanta stock.
This poll along with the Mason-Dixon showing Bush up by 9 in Colorado and Florida now 5-7 pts. for Bush tells me that the MSM scream won't work. Even after the third debate, Bush has got three weeks to work that campaign magic. He'll do it.
Is this the same ABC poll that they were touting yesterday that was so bad for Bush or is this some different ABC deal? I am so confused.
Got me babaloo, they got me so confused I hardly look at them anymore.
